Chan entered every room and told everyone to get up, because they had gotten a threat from one of their enemy mafias, in this case, it was NCT. The two mafias had never had a good relationship since the very beginning, it was hard for both parties to get along.

Aiden went to pack up the small number of things she had brought, and by the time she had packed everything, it was time to leave. It was sad that the whole time they've spent at the cabin was filled by useless fighting and arguments, which didn't let anyone relax. Aiden had too much pride to admit that it was her fault though, especially now. Why would she have to admit she was wrong when it was all taken care of and the arguments were finally over?

Everyone was back on the bus they arrived in with Alyssa by the wheel. Aiden was still amazed how well Alyssa was able to deal with the shit that happened all around her.

Aiden sighed and fell back into her seat. Her thoughts were all over the place, she was once again contemplating if joining a mafia was a good idea, but as soon as her doubts started flooding her mind, the memory of Chan hugging her started replaying in her mind. Aiden had done so well with ignoring romantic feelings, so how in the world did one hug completely destroy all that? On top of that, everyone noticed that something was off about her today.

Firstly, Jeongin was surprised that Aiden didn't even look at Chan when he had stepped inside their room in their morning. He was completely shocked that she didn't snap back at him when he told her that they all are in danger, including her. How come she had changed her opinion just in a few hours?

Next, Felix and Minho noticed that Aiden had been staring at Chan for a little bit too long, she was obviously lost in thought. And it was also quite clear that she was lost in thought about Chan.

Aiden looked out the window as they passed many trees, the light coat of snow had engulfed the branches. She felt calm, it felt like she had finally gotten away from all the danger she'd been putting herself into.

...

" Aiden, wake up. We're home, " Chan slightly tapped Aiden on her shoulder.

There was no one else on the bus besides the two of them. Aiden hadn't even realized that she had fallen asleep, but one thing was for sure, she thought she was still sleeping, so she slightly moved her body in a more comfortable position and allowed herself to fall asleep once again.

Chan chuckled at the girl in front of him, he carefully picked up Aiden bridal style and got off the bus, trying his best not to make any harsh movements that could wake up the girl in his arms.

When he had finally managed to open the front door of the house, he made his way up to her room. The rest of Strays that were getting comfy in the living room awed at the two. Hyunjin felt uncomfortable seeing Aiden's head right up against Chan's chest, but there wasn't anything he could do about it, but his thoughts were soon interrupted when he felt Jeongin awkwardly shift next to him. Jeongin had a slight tint of jealousy on his face and Hyunjin realized what that meant. He dryly chuckled to himself and felt his arms become weak. Of course, why wouldn't they like Aiden? Yes, she was quite unpredictable but she was fun to be around, well, when you weren't on the list of people she doesn't like.

There were now three guys who had a crush on her, while Aiden, she wasn't even sure what she felt. Yes, her heart skipped a beat when she thought about the hug with Chan, but she liked the company of Jeongin and Hyunjin, but maybe it was only as friends. So that was it, the two guys had been written in the list of " the guys Aiden had friend-zoned ", not really a great place to be in, but what could be done? It's not like she chose what her heart should feel, it's simply not that easy.

Chan opened the door to Aiden's room and walked in, he placed her on to her bed. He wanted to talk about the situation with NCT today, but he couldn't bring himself to wake up Aiden. At the end of the day, she was a Stray too and she had to be there when meetings were being held.

Chan took one last glance at Aiden and walked out of the room, but on the other side of the door was Felix.

" You like her, don't you? "

Chan walked past Felix ignoring the question, he didn't want to answer, even though the cliche quiet answer answered the question very well itself.

" Don't you dare hurt her, you got it? " Felix said as he looked at Chan who was making his way to his own room.

Chan looked back at Felix, " I would never dream of doing something like that."

" Just remember, if anything happens to her because of you, I will hurt you, and I know you're very much aware of that."

" Don't worry it's not like she likes me back. "

Felix chuckled, " Do you really think that I would say all this to you if she didn't like you back? "

" How would you even know? "

Felix slightly smiled at Chan before walking off, " Just look at how she acts around you now, she probably doesn't realize her own feelings, but trust me, there is something there."

a/n sorry that this is so short, ive been struggling with writing this story for so long, and basically i just decided to focus on my hyunjin fic, it's really lighthearted and i think that's why i like it so much.
