a/n im sorry if this is fucking shit. like i feel like i've sort of fucked over this story ;(

" So what's the plan? " Felix sat down on the couch and looked at Chan, it was finally time to plan everything out, this was not going to be a fun mission and everyone was very well aware of that.

" The mansion the party is happening at is located the west of JYP's headquarters, so it's a fact that we will have back up if needed. "

Changbin scoffed," The old man isn't going to help us by putting his people in danger, we left his wing for a reason, so asking him, of all people, for help is like we're proving his point."

" We never left his wing, we just agreed that we would be independent, we're still with him and everyone else. Plus, we're all going to get ourselves killed if we don't get help. NCT has a big mafia group by their side as well, and I'm more than sure that they're going to get involved as well," Minho stated while he looked at his teammate.

" Minho's right. If NCT is as strong as Chan says they are then we won't get anywhere without some extra pair of hands, " Aiden agreed with Minho, his point was very good and he was right, they really would get themselves killed if they were to fight alone, this was a serious matter and there was no way Aiden was going to get herself killed.

Chan looked at the girl surprised as he didn't expect Aiden to actually give any ideas, but continued to set down the plan, " I completely agree with both Minho and Aiden. NCT have no idea that we are to attack and get the files we need to have the upper hand with this situation."

" How do you even know that the files will be there?"

" It's their mansion, of course, they will be there. We weren't invited, but our brother mafia was, I made an agreement with Jaebum that we take their spot as substitutes cause they weren't able to make it. "

Chan took in a deep breath.

" Aiden, you'll have to be one of the leading people for this mission. You'll need to go undercover as a plus one for one of the guys, so you'll always be on top of the mission. We need to people to lead this whole thing, Jeongin can't go cause of his ankle, and I wouldn't wish to have him get hurt because of this."

" Chan, you and Aiden should lead. Seungmin and Woojin will be working with gadgets anyway. Felix has to stay a bit behind because he is like the secret card, Minho has never lead a mission and two people who have never lead a mission would be a horrifying combination," Jisung suggested.

" Why can't Hyunjin lead? He's lead before and he has the charms to slyly get out of situations without starting a fight, " Changbin asked.

" Hyunjin works better alone when leading missions, so that wouldn't work," Jeongin cut in.

" Okay, so Aiden and I will lead? Fine. Felix and Hyunjin should be the backup, but I think Jisung should join them, as they as a trio could be really strong and helpful. Woojin and Seungmin will work in the van as always, but Minho and Changbin should work with the snipers, which means those two have to be really sneaky, cause if everyone there is a friend of NCT, it won't be easy."

" Hyunjin, I can't do this."

" Aiden, trust me, you'll do just fine," Hyunjin rubbed Aiden's back as the girl was half collapsed on the couch in their living room.

" I can't lead the mission alongside Chan, I'll mess it up. Like I'm so fucking stupid. There is no way I won't mess anything up," Aiden's voice sounded so perplexed. She was way too confused about this, at the end of the day, this was her first mission, this was the first time she was actually going to need to prove herself. The only problem is if she makes a mistake and Chan isn't able to fix it, all of their lives will be in grave danger.

Hyunjin slightly lifted Aiden up by her shoulders, he wanted to look her in the eyes, " You'll do fine. Chan isn't a rookie, he knows what he's doing and this surely isn't his first rodeo."

Aiden looked the boy in the eyes, " How can you be so sure about this?"

" Cause there is no other way this can go. I've been in multiple missions and believe me, this is far from the deadly ones. Yes, NCT is strong and they have the power to end us, but there's a reason why they haven't done it yet. "

" And what's that?"

The corners of Hyunjin's lips slight rise up into a subtle smile," Because they haven't been able to. We're strong, we have amazing people on our side. NCT aren't idiots, they know ending us will also end all of their ties with the JYP teams, and trust me when I tell you, those teams bring them a lot of support."

" But why do I still feel so wrong about this? I mean, yes, I'm not stupid and I know when someone's lying right to my face, but I can't bring myself to disappoint you all. I've already failed Mrs. Hong, she wanted me to live a safe and steady life, instead, I spit in her face and run off to join a mafia."

The handsome boy slightly shook his head, " You can't disappoint us if we do this together then there is nothing we can't beat."

" I'm just awfully scared, Hyunjin," Aiden collapsed onto her friend.

The boy wrapped his arms around the girl's weak body, he understood how she felt. His first mission had the same impact on him, and he was very much aware that there was really nothing he could do for her in order to change the feelings that were welling up inside of her.

Aiden felt Hyunjin's arms wrap around her and it sent a signal right to her heart, it started beating slower. She was calming down, but it was impossible to miss the little skipping of beat that the hug made her feel. His hug was comfortable, she felt safe in his arms, this brought a wave of relief upon her. This is exactly what the girl needed.

Chan looked at the two from the archway, he couldn't help but feel a slight stab in his heart. Yes, he was jealous, but as far as he knew there was nothing he had to worry about, Aiden was having a tough time and friendly boy Hyunjin was right there to save the day.

The next day. Aiden was confused by her thoughts because of the previous night. The giddy feeling took upon her as she remembered the hug she shared with Hyunjin. It almost felt the same when she imagined Chan, almost but not quite the same.

She knew very well that she needed to talk to someone, but in the group, he was in there wasn't anyone she would openly want to talk to. Yes, Felix was her best friend, but he was close with the other guys too, so there was no way Aiden was going to expose her deepest darkest secrets, and by that, she meant crushes and feelings towards guys.

The slight feeling of annoyance engulfed her, it felt like she was about to completely shut down. Aiden took out her phone and thankfully she saw a text from Yukhei which relieved her. There was someone she could talk to and that someone was a random guy she met at a party who ended up being an awesome dude.

Without thinking twice, Aiden tapped on the green call button, she had to talk to someone, so why not talk to her new, cool, secret friend?

" Damn, what's up with your miserable life that you decided to call me instead of texting? " Yukhei laughed as he just picked up the phone.

Aiden rolled her eyes and scoffed, " I needed relationship advice, can you even blame me? "

" Oooh, girly Heath has relationship problems, feel free to tell me more, " the boy on the other line seemed a bit too excited.

" Should I just lay it out without any backstory? "

" Yep, " Yukhei said, it was clear the boy had laid down on his bed and was waiting for the tea like a fourteen-year-old girl.

" I like two dudes."

" Shit, well... "

" Are you really that surprised? " Aiden laughed.

" I mean you're hot and most hot chicks like more than one dude. "

Aiden widened her eyes, " So that's what you think of fine women like yours truly?"

" I mean.."

" I'm just kidding. But yeah, what does one do in my situation? "

" How the fuck do I know, maybe try to decide which one you like more? Cause there's really nothing that can go wrong unless you make a move on the both of them at the same time. "
