" So, you ready to head home?" Einar chirped from his desk, spinning around in his desk chair.

Aiden nodded and turned off her computer," Yeah, I am."

The two went down to the first floor to get their jackets and went to say goodbye to their security, they wanted their employees to have a nice experience and not like the once they two had back in Reykjavik.

" We're going to head out, lock up after you two are done okay?" Aiden said to the two security guards

" Have a safe walk home, but please be careful, we saw some suspicious activity through the cameras outside, so be extra careful."

" Of course, thank you."

Aiden and Einar exited the building.

Einar threw his hands over Aiden's shoulders," So girly, still not giving me a chance?"

Aiden laughed and pushed him off," Yes."

" Ouch, why does this still hurt?"

" Awe, should I kiss you to make take the pain away?" Aiden teasingly cooed.

Einar pursed his lips together asking for a kiss, he knew it was only a joke for the two that's why he didn't feel awkward about doing that, but all fun ended when Aiden was suddenly pulled back by her arm.

" What the- C-Chan?" Aiden looked up at the blonde boy.

Einar walked up to the two and grabbed Aiden's other hand," Let her go."

" And who are you?" Chan darkly chuckled.

" Einar, it's okay," Aiden turned to the other boy.

" No it's not some random guy just grabbed your arm and started dragging you away, that's not okay!"

" 'some random guy'? Looks like someone erased me completely," Chan laughed is disbelief.

" Einar, this is the person I left. This person is the reason I haven't given you a chance," Aiden quietly explained.

Einar sadly let go of Aiden's hand," Okay, I'll se you at home then?"

" Yes," Aiden awkwardly replied.

Einar left the two alone and walked home, so this was the suspicious activity, wasn't it?

" You came back to Korea, but you didn't think about telling me?" Chan grabbed ahold of Aiden's shoulders, his fingers digging into her skin.

Aiden looked away from the man in front of her, her heart was pounding profusely, making it hard for her to control the heart inside of her chest.

" And now you'll just ignore me completely?"

" I-I don't have anything to tell you," Aiden's voice was small and quiet.

" You don't have anything to say? How about apologizing for putting us in danger? How about explaining how you decided to leave without talking to us first? How about fucking apologizing for leaving me when you knew about my feelings for you?" Chan's voice became louder and louder with each question.

" I'm sorry," Aiden wiped away her tears with one of her hands, but the bracelet on her wrist caught Chan's attention instantly.

" You have no right to have that around your wrist," Chan calmly said.

The girl quickly pulled her hand behind her back," It was the only thing I had that reminded me of you."

" Why did you leave, be honest. I know you didn't leave only because you found your parents."

" I was scared."

" Of what?"

" Of falling in love. When I found out about my parents, it was like a door opened. There was my one shit at getting away, but it was too late..."

" You're back now, right? You won't leave me again will you?" Chan desperately looked for the answer in Aiden's eyes. The girl kept quiet, so Chan took the matter in his own hands.

In a second his lips were pressed against hers. The kiss full of desperation and hurt, one of Chan's hands moved to hold Aiden's shoulder, the other moving to her lower back, holding her close. Aiden felt her hands move to wrap themselves around Chan's neck, melting into the kiss.

Chan pulled back and looked into Aiden's eyes. The girl was putty in his hands, he could do whatever he desired, but when Aiden came back to her right mind, she softly pushed herself away from him.

" Chan, I can't."

" Why? You clearly want me too, what's so wrong with that?"

" Our lives are way too different, I'm a manager if a news company, Chan. I can't associate myself with some mafia leader."

" Some mafia leader? And what are your parents?"

Aiden looked away," They left their mafia in the hands of Sua."

" That's what they want you to believe? Of course, they'd tell you that. Do you really think Sua by herself decided to go after us? Our headquarters switched because they ruined our previous one-"

" Another reason we can't be. No matter what I'm a Heath, those are my parents."

" And what are you going to do, huh?" Chan was scary angry," Going to continue playing with that poor guy's heart? Einar was it?"

" He knows that I don't think of him like t-"

" And does that change his feelings? I know the girl I love is selfish, stupid and a child of my biggest enemies, but here I am. So do you think him knowing you don't think of him like that changes anything?"

" Chan, I hurt you all way too much, my father told me about the situation you've been in, do you really think I could come back to you not feeling guilty?"

" Then fix the mess you made!"

" I can't."

" All you have to do is finally accept me, it's not that fucking hard Aiden!"

Aiden felt her tears roll down her cheeks," I should've listened to Yukhei."

" And do what? Lie that you're with someone else?"

" Yes! If that was enough-"

Chan pulled Aiden into a tight hug," Why can't you see that all I need is you?"

" We're living different lives, Chan."

" Then I'll leave, I'll leave The Strays for you!"

Aiden harshly pushed Chan away," They need you, ruining your life for someone like me is stupid, Chan!"

Aiden quickly turned around around and ran away, leaving Chan on the ground, alone, broken and angry.

Chan hit his head repeatedly," Stupid, stupid, stupid."
