Sorry I haven't updated. My schedule is busy as hell plus I am now in senior year so.... work, work, work. Plus I had a huge writers block on this fic. I'm going to try and finish this one as soon as possible so I can get back to my other one : "The truth"

After what happened with Marinette, Adrien was quite loss... His Lady didn't kill anyone, so that would mean that Marinette never insulted Juleka and Rose. So an akuma actually did this...But who...

"Adrien, you have school."

"I'm coming Nathalie."

At school

Due to traffic, Adrien was running a bit late. When he arrived, he noticed Mari, standing in front of the building. She looked worried and hesitant. After all who could blame her. He wanted to go and talked to her but remembered he wasn't in his suit. But at this point Adrien didn't care.

"Hi Marinette," he said with his usual angelic voice.

Marinette was obviously startled by his voice.

"Oh, H-Hi"

A long silent replaced her blabbering until Adrien spoke up.

"Look Mari...I know that I was horrible to you and that I should have helped you when the others were against you and-"

"Don't worry about it.. I mean with all the evidence against me you couldn't have known..."

"That doesn't explain anything. I know you Marinette and I betrayed the trust we had. I'm juts so so sorry."

"It's okay, kind of. Don't worry to much. Things are getting a little but better now."

"Umm...Mari I have to tell you something," he said hesitantly.

"What is it?"

"Umm...Can we go somewhere a bit more private please."

"Class is going to start though..."

"Please it's extremely important," he pleaded, "If needed I'll take the blame."

"But I don't want you to be blamed because of me"

Adrien looked at her angrily, "Marinette I'm the one who hurt you and you're still worried about me? You are too kind for your own good!"

"Umm...okay?" She replied, not sure what to do, "Fine I'll go with you."

The duo walked together in silence to a more quiet place. When they finally arrived, a heavy silence took over until Adrien finally spoke, "Marinette like I said I'm so sorry. I know that you're a beautiful, kind and brave person and I should have believed in you when you needed me. I let you down as Marinette and as Ladybu-"

"What? Where you going to say Ladybug?!" She almost screamed.

"Ummm...yes. I know who you really are..."

Marinette couldn't believe what was happening. She was so confused and scared, "But how? When? I have been so careful, I made sure I hid myself, I, I, I-"

Adrien took her hands to calm her down, "Marinette...I'm Chat Noir. That's how I found out."

"What? What do you mean you're Chat Noir?" She asked with a trembling voice.

"Plagg, please come out..."

The young girl couldn't believe it. She was panicking but at the same time she was relieved. She cared so much about Adrien and Chat Noir were precious to her life. And they forgave her and trusted her, well he forgave and trusted her. Adrien long speech about his guilt was just background noises to her.

"Adrien stop. I already told you, I forgive you and I understand. I was just lost in my thoughts but I'm happy that you told me."

Adrien couldn't stop his tears anymore, "How can you be so kind? I love you so much"

"You what?"

He didn't bother to answer and grabbed gently her hand. The young man leaned in until their lips finally met, "That's what I meant by I love you"

After being scolded by their teacher, the new couple sat down at the lunch table. It had been quite a while since both of them didn't feel that happy. Everyone just started at them especially Chloé, obviously outraged by the news. Alya and Nino were also intrigued by why did Adrien hang out with their old friend and how the hell were they dating. But it didn't seem to bother two loving teens, they had other priorities.

"So obviously an akuma is doing all of this, but who? We haven't seen one at all."

"Chloé was the one who turned into me, I purified the akuma but regarding the one who killed the girl...I don't know..."

"But are we sure that this civilian was real? I mean if it was an akuma maybe it was an illusion," suggested Adrien, "We haven't seen Lila in quite a while..."

"You think that she was akumatized into Volpina again?"

"It's only a suggestion."

"We should investigate then. Let's meet tonight at my balcony, we need to do some digging"
