We talked awhile, but the family had to go home.
"I'm gonna stay a while longer." I told them. We all hugged (of course!); the visiting hours were pretty laid back. I actually ended up staying the night.
I could not sleep at all; I kept seeing that ugly scene. I tried to get my mind off of it by thinking of everything under the sun.
Let's see... what can I think of?... Music!.... Okay, now I need a song... An oldie... A Beach Boy song, yeah... Hmm... If every word I said could make you laugh, I'd talk forever (together my love). I ask the sky just what we had. Mmm It shone forever (together my love my my my my my my my my my my my my my)..... NO!! That's not helping! I can't think about Jesse, or else I'll see that scene again!

I woke up after a five minute nap. At first, I thought I was waking up next to Jesse in the comfort of our own home. But then I heard the heart monitor, and I knew we were in the hospital. I yawned and walked over to the bedside table. Suddenly I felt someone touch my bottom. I smiled and turned around.
"Morning, gorgeous," Jesse held my hand.
"Hello, handsome." I sat on the bed and pushed his hair back. "Did you sleep well?"
"Eh. You?"
"Eh...." I smiled and shook my head. "Gee, I love you."
"Right back atcha," he smiled and we started to kiss.
"A-A-Ahem!!" someone cleared their throat. We looked up to see an ugly nurse. She had gray hair, a jutted out jaw, and reeked of smoke. "Do you mind?"
"Nope!" Jesse reached up to pull me back down, forgetting about his arm. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" he said rapidly.
"Jess, be careful!" I jumped up.
The nurse thrust pills in Jesse's face.
He looked at them. "What're those?"
"Antibiotics and pain killers."
"Oh." He tossed them in his mouth and swallowed them dry. I never understood how people did that...
"Excuse me, how long will he be here?" I asked.
"I dunno... You were on Wake Up, San Fransisco, weren't you?"
"Yes, I was!" Jesse got me fired. "Do you watch the show?"
"Only every day it's on! I watch it to get my morning laugh! It's too funny! The stuoid co-host and Danny Tanner? His jokes are so lame!"
"How ling will Jesse be here?" I asked, annoyed.
"I dunno."
I walked over to the bedside table and pressed the call button.
"Why'd you do that?" Jesse wondered.
"Cause I want some answers!"
A pretty blonde nurse came in. "may I hep you?"
"Ask her. She rang." Jesse said.
"I'm sorry. I just wanna know when he can be released?"
"I'd say today or tomorrow. It depends."
"Okay, thank you."
"No problem. Anything else?"
"Mmm, no, I'm good. How 'bout you, Jess?"
"What time is it?" He asked.
"Uh, 11:00. Eleven? Wow, I've never slept past eleven!" I pointed my finger at Jesse. "Don't even think about it!"
He laughed. "I wasn't going to say we've stayed in bed past eleven."
"Ugh! Why do you tell people that?"
"Because it's great! Who else can brag-"
"Excuse me, but aren't you Jesse Katsopolis from Jesse and The Rippers?" Nancy interrupted him. Good thing, too; nobody needs to know we have a very healthy love life.
"Yes, I am." Jesse smiled.
"I've seen you at the Smash Club before. You're very good. I've seen Jesse And The Rippers, just you, and Hot Daddy and The Monkey Puppets."
"Stupidest name ever," I expressed my opinion.
Suddenly, the nice nurse, named Nancy, got paged. "Oh, I have to go now. Bye!"
"Anyways," I started, "If you're gonna be discharged after lunch, there'd be no point in going back home."
"There's a gift shop, if you want to go." Jesse told me.
"I want." And off I went to the gift shop.
