I looked at the calendar; in a month or so, we'd welcome our triplets. I was excited— I knew it would be any day now. I smiled as Jesse played a tune on his guitar.
"That's pretty. Is it for the triplets?"
"Mmhmm. I don't know the words, though."
I smiled— this was the best!

As the next month approached, Jesse kept staring at me. While I'd read a magazine, he'd sit and stare.
"Jess, stop staring at me. You know they're gonna come at the worst possible time ever."
"We've been waiting eight months all ready!"
"Jess! They'll get here when they get here!"
Jesse sighed. "Why does this time feel twice as long as last time?"
"Be patient, honey. They'll come."

On April 20th, 1996, I laid in bed, counting how far apart my contractions were. Yep. It's time. I shook Jess awake. "Jesse! It's time!"
"To sleep." He answered groggily.
"No, it's time to have the babies!"
Jesse sat up. "No!"
"Yes!"
"Get outta here!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Jess."
"Get outta here!"
"Jess! Get a grip. It's happening!... Why do I feel like deja vu?"
We got all the stuff together, Jess being very loud.
"Jesse! Shut up! Wanna Wake the hole house?!" I yelled at him.
"Too late." Steph came out of her room, followed by Michelle from hers. "Where are you guys going?" Michelle wondered.
"Becky's gonna have the triplets."
"No!" Michelle said in disbelief.
"Get outta here!" Stephanie was also in disbelief.
"What's going on?" Danny emerged from his bedroom.
"Could you guys keep it down?" Joey asked. "Why're we all out here?"
"Becky's in labor," Michelle and Stephanie answered.
"No!" Came from Danny.
"Get outta here!" Was Joey's response.
"Guys!" I yelled. "I'm in labor!"
"Oh, right!" We made our way downstairs.
"Wait!" I said. Everyone stared. "We can't leave Nicky and Alex all alone!"
"You're right! Joseph, go get em!" Jesse  somewhat demanded.
After we had acquired the twins, we went to the hospital.

During my umpteenth contraction, I asked, "Will. This. Never. End?!... Hoo hoo he. Hoo hoo he."
"We will, we will rock you." The guys sang.
I looked at them like "just cause I'm in labor, doesn't mean I can't kill you."
"Sorry." They smiled.
"Phew! That one's over... guys, if you don't mind, get outta my room."
Everyone started leaving.
"Not you, Jess!"
"Sorry." He came back and sat down.
