You opened
My eyes
To see the light,
Of the stars
In the
Night sky.
To watch
The world fall away,
As I fall in love
With you.
I want to fall in
Deep.
Make it last
A lifetime.
You hold me tight
Not wanting to
Let go.
I lean into you,
But I'm just not
Into it today.
My heart
Pounding against
The walls I put up
Wanting to break
Free from its chains.
I hold back,
Wishing I could
Be more
Free.
I want to have
No fear for
The future,
No fear for
The consequences.
I wish that the world
Would just fall away,
And that I could finally say
"It's only us..."
Without regrets.
