Marry! My Black Horse （嫁！我的黑马）by Shi Xiao Zha 师小札 – Chapter 8

When Guan Xin came out of Mei Da’s company, it was dark and looked like a doomsday. It was a heavy thunderstorm. She wrinkled her brow, and thought how will she get back to the company. She went to this Mei Da’s company, which was located at quite remote area, for delivering a manual book and test sample of electronic foot massage for new client. Because the company was too far from city center, it cost around 65 Yuan to take a taxi so it was quite inconvenient for her. It was raining heavily now, she had no umbrella so she ponder on ways to get back to the company.

After thinking for a while, she ran to the nearest convenience store to buy a 20 Yen umbrella, and waited in front of convenience for a taxi. However after about 30 minutes of waiting, there was no even a taxi passed by.

When she was worried, a white Bentley car slowly slow down, and stopped at the front of her. She was puzzled for a while, she tried to make out who is the driver, but it was difficult to identify who was driver because of the raindrops covered the window. Then the window of the car was lowered, deep low voice called her name “Xin Mu”, only then she could recognized the driver, it was Xia Yu.

It’s been a long time since their last meeting, since he rejected Guan Xin Mu, they never got in touch again.

“Where are you going?” Xia Yu laughed and he pointed to his car, “Let me send you off.”

Looking that there was no sign of the rain will stop soon, her wet clothes and shoes, and the umbrella that kept on swaying, she didn’t know whether to accept it or not. When she still hesitated, Xia Yu spoke again: “Get in the car, you can’t get any taxi here.”

In this bad weather, it was a waste of effort and time to keep on waiting for a taxi to pass by so Guan Xin Mu thought about it and afterwards she got in the car, and said her thanks to Xia Yu. Then, she told him her company address.

Xia Yu told her that he was just finished attending an invest meeting, because of the heavy rainstorm, he drove the car in slow speed, then he looked at her standing in the roadside. In the beginning he thought he recognized a wrong person as her, but when he drove closer it was her.

“The life after marriage is happy, right.” Xia Yu started to drive in steady speed, started to chat about their ordinary life.

“It’s not bad.” Guan Xin Mu laughed.

Their chat was quite smooth, when Guan Xin Mu chatted Xia Yu, she thought it will be an awkward chat. However, turns out it was a quite easy going chat, maybe it because Xia Yu all along was a gentle style kind of man, who will not allowed a woman feel awkward and uncomfortable.

Guan Xin Mu knew Xia Yu since she was 13 years old. In her long adolescence year, Xia Yu always acted as her big brother, he was very outstanding, his study and sport subject were really excellent. He was really mature, generous, optimistic, and really good at take care of people. Thus, that time she really like to follow him. She often took her mathematic homework to him to let him teach her. She still remember she also had beg him to imitate the her parent signature when she got a bad score in test. Xia Yu has dominated the important part and memory of her youth. She liked him, liked him for a long long time, but she never a gut to confess, because in the bottom of heart, she knew that she didn’t really deserve him. She was afraid that when she confessed and got rejected, it will break their relationship. Therefore, she always buried her love deeply.
