Getting Ready For The Show

September came really quickly after that! I started my classes and it was going really well.

My street dance teacher, Mrs Hutch, told us about a big show case that we did every year. We only had 2 weeks to put it together!

"It's going to be hard! But we will do it!" She said. She put us in positions and started to teach us a dance.

She used music from when I was about 12 or 13. It was Sing by Ed Sheeran.

The day went on. I got to my private singing lesson. Usually it was just Miss Watt in there but today there was someone in there with her. It was Lily! I never knew she did singing!

"Hey! Your going to be singing with Lily for the big show case!" Miss Watt said to me as I walked in.

"Great!" I replied with a grin on my face, " What are we singing to?!"

"If you say so by Lea Michele." She replied grinning.

"I love that song! The first time I heard it, it made me cry because its about Cory Monteith when he died." Lily said with a tight throut.

"Lets get started then! Lily you will do the first verse, both do the chorus, Libby will do the the second verse, both do the chorus, Lily will do the first half of the bridge, Libby do the second and then for the last chorus, Lily will do it normally and Libby you will be doing it harmonised!" It took her a while to explain everything but we both understood it.

'And now I'll never know if all I've been told is just a lie so cold, I thought we would grow old, mirrors in the smoke, left me here to choke.'

" Wow!" Miss Watt was pretty much lost for words!

We were getting closer to the show and we got asked for tickets. I had no clue who to bring! My family lived in England apart from my cousin who lived in New Zeland but I hadn't seen them in 10 years! I wasn't even sure if they still lived there! Then I got an I idea! Luke, Ash , Mike and Calum! Wait! Would they come! The last time I spoke to them was when I told Ash that I wouldn't be there warm up act for there world tour! The rest of them had no clue what I was going on about! Would they really want to see me dance and sing?! Singing especially! I decided to call Luke.

Buzz Buzz Buzz...

"Hello?!" I heard from the other end of the phone.

"Hey Luke! It's Libby. I wanted to ask you something." I said. I heard him clear his throut with made me chuckle.

"Oh hey! What is it?" He replied in a slightly deeper voice which made me laugh.

"I was wondering if you and the other boys wanted to come to my big show case in a couple of days." I waited for his answer. I could hear some buzzing in the background.

"Are you just dancing?" he asked.

"No me and Lily are singing a duet." I replied. There was some more buzzing.

" Ok sure how much are the tickets?"

"£10"

" Ok cool I will drop the money round tomorrow!" He said still I'm his fake low voice.

" Ok see tomorrow." I replied before hanging up the phone.

I slept we'll that night but I'm not sure why. Was it because Luke was coming over? Or because I finally gave my tickets away? Either way it made me sleep well!

The next day, I woke up and got dressed after having a shower and having my breakfast. I put on a cute pastel pink dress with a sweetheart neckline. Ilooked at my phone and noticed that I had 4 missed calls! 3 were from my mother and the other one was from Luke. I called Luke first because I knew my mum was only phoning to check on me!

Buzz Buzz Buzz...

"Hey Libby! Thanks for calling me back! Would we be able to get 5 extra tickets for your big show case?! He asked me all at once.

"Uh sure! Wait! Who are the 5 tickets for?. I asked out of curiosity.

" Some friends but you defiantly know them!" he giggled.

"Uh ok! When are you coming over?"

" I'm putting my shoes on with £90 in my bag! I will need to go pick my friends up first so I'll bring them to yours! See ya in about an hour!"

" Ok bye!" I replied before putting the phone down! Who was coming with him?! 5 people that he knows and that he knows that I know them... I was completely lost! Any way I sat down and started to watch Jeremy Kyle when there was a knock on my door. It couldn't have been Luke because he was on the phone to me just 5 minutes ago! I opened the door to see a happy Connor grinning at me!

"Hey I heard Jeremy Kyle so thought I'd come over!" He exclaimed and I laughed. I beckoned him to come in. We sat down on the couch and started laughing at the people arguing on the show.

He ended up staying over for ages! We were talking about te most random things from childhoods to our favourite Italian foods. About an our later Luke showed up. I hadn't opened the door but I could tell it was him because he cleared his throut and started to practice his low masculin voice. I opened the voice and was shocked at who I saw! Luke was standing there surrounded by 5 British boys. 3 had brown hair, 1 had jet black hair and the other one had blonde hair.

He had brought One Direction to my apartment!

"Hiya love!" The hairy carrot loving one said.

"Hey" the other 4 said in unison.

"Libby right?!" The Irish one said squinting his eyes.

"Aha heard a lot about this one on the way here!" The tall curly haired one said to the others and the all laughed. Luke staired at him.

"May we come in?!" Luke said calmly even though it was clear that he was embarresed by the other boys. I let them in and they joined Connor on the sofa.

"So do you 2 live together?" Harry asked pointing at me and Connor.

"No I live here with my sleepy room mate Lily and he lives down the hall." I answered. "Speak of the devil!" I chuckled as Lily walked out of her room. She looked at me as I cocked my head to one side and she stared at the couch and screamed at the top of her voice!

"ONE DIRECTION ARE IN OUR APARTMENT!" It looked like she was about to cry!

"Calm down Lily! There with Luke!" I said stroking her back.

Eventually, she calmed down and we were able to sit with them and have a really good talk. I found out that my old Technology teacher in school was best friends with Harry's sister Gemma when they were in Collage! Small world huh! After an hour or 2 Ellis ,Connor's roommate, came knocking on the door saying that he just blew up the microwave in there apartment so he had to leave. He gave me a kiss on the cheek which made Luke's face go bright red. Why was he so over protective? We weren't going out! I knew he liked me and I kinda liked him but not as much now!

After a while the boys had to leave. Which made Lily really sad but she got over it soon enough when she found out that they were to the big show case! They promised to come and visit us again now they knew where we lived and to my surprise as they walked out, Harry and Louis turned around and asked for our phone numbers! I gave mine to Harry so he could send it to the others that were too shy to ask and Lily did the same to Louis.

What and eventful day! First I got to spend the morning with Connor (SCORE!). Then One Direction showed up at my front door with Luke Hemmings who gave me £90!
