I wrapped my hoodie around my body
It'll be a cold night
Where your body would lay
Was just empty cold sheets
Where your warmth would spread
Is where a chilling cold may be
I miss cuddling you till dawn
Your arms messed within mine
I miss watching you sleep blissfully
Like everything was at peace
And you had everything you wanted
I miss your morning voice
And yes.
No matter how croaky it may sound
I prefer your voice over absence
I miss your eyes as they sparkle
When you look up at me in a haze
Trying to capture everything you saw at once
Before yawning in my face
I miss the scent of your perfume
Lingering in my nose sending
Shivers and comfort throughout my body
I miss the feel of your body
Against mine
Fitted nicely against my figure
Wrapped neatly within my armsI miss you.
