Pt. 1
Clear glass eyes drawn on me
That reflected my entire being
I watched her slow and awkward movements
Before smiling my own
Moving that singular chess piece
Games of strategy I did not
She smiled victorious
Like a child watching a favourite toy
Eyes lit up like deer in headlights
I slammed my chess piece down
Watching her smile burn bright
My chest caught light
Nor did she see how cute a smile
May be
Nor she see how small and soft she will be
Nor how that presence makes thee feel softer than jelly
Skin that felt the sun kiss thee
So tanned and beautiful
I need not know jealousy
Beautiful sun kissed child
And glassy eyed doll
Believe me when I say that
You are the gold of the sun
Holding a certain wisdom
That awestruck me every time
Our small little talks-
Are a wonderful thing to pass time___________________________________
