Will You Take Care Of Me

I woke up once again but this time I had more energy to move my head so I could look around. The light wasn't bright like it was before, now it had been dimmed and curtains had been pulled around me for extra darkness.

I saw Josh curled up in a ball on the chair next to me. And my mind erupted with thoughts of everything that had happened the past week. I looked down at my hands to see two bandages wrapped around my fingers. I lifted my hand up to my aching nose and felt two tubes coming from my nostrils. I couldn't help it but I let out a tear which felt like it burnt my cheek. 

~The Next Day~

 I woke up to the smell of breakfast.

"The nurse brought you some breakfast..." Josh said to me.

"Don't wanna eat it... you have it," I mumbled to him.

"No. you need it more than me" he explained pushing the plate towards me.

"No..." I said 

"Fine but if you're hungry later-"

"I know, I know... thanks dad" I joked making him laugh.

I was in the hospital for three days with Josh and finally, we were allowed to go however as long as I kept the bandages on my hands.

We got the bus to go to 'Josh's surprise'. 

"What is this surprise?" I asked him 

"well it wouldn't be a surprise if I tell you would it," he said with a smirk "besides if  I told you now you wouldn't let it happen!"

"Pleaseeee!" I begged but Josh just shook his head and watched out the coach window. "at least tell me if it is in Columbus!"

"Yes! it is!" he said finally.

"Yay!" is exclaimed.

We got off the coach and Josh led me to a row of apartments. He opened a door. "Josh this is someone's house! We can't just go in!" I whispered in case anyone could hear us.

"I know... but it doesn't matter because it's my house!" he said excitedly.

"What! You mean you got an apartment? how? we hardly have any money!" I exclaimed.

"Well 2 days ago my nan passed away soo in her will she left me some money. Its ours now"
