Mr. Carter's Homestead, Bucharest...
"Mr. Carter, this is... unsettling." Arthur said in a worried tone. "I'm hoping that this is all fiction but now I'm getting a chill running down my spine."
"I know. It's scary. But I think these are just fiction. We do know a few things from these manuscripts." Mr. Carter said.
"And those are?"
"That it mentions real places, it mentions fictional characters, and it is dated from 1600 to 1700 CE. Meaning it's fiction."
"Hopefully. This stuff is giving me chills."
Arthur then sighs and reads the documents one more time. "Sophia Corazon, huh? She wrote this stuff. Maybe they are true but she added some superstition into it. But what's with the last document?" He wondered while reading the last translated document.
"She lost her daughter. Who is she putting the blame on?" He asked.
"Apparently, she blames the humans. Because of our fear of the unknown and unfamiliar and our arrogance as the ones favored by the 'Almighty'. I know religion is stupid but blaming it on us is just, well, stupid. She is probably blinded by rage." Mr. Carter answered.
"True." Arthur says. He then gets up and shakes Mr. Carter's hand, "Thank you very much for translating these documents Mr. Carter. This gives us the gothic-ish culture this place once had and the myths and legends it possesses."
"My pleasure Mr. Sherwood. It's been an honor." Mr. Carter replied.

Arthur Sherwood's DiaryIt's been a while since I last wrote in this journal. Last entry was probably a month ago. But ever since Mr. Carter translated the Proto-Romanian texts for me and read them myself, my mind has been full of questions:
* Is Sophia Corazon real?
* If she is, was she a Vampire?
* Why would she declare war on Humanity?
* Do monsters exist?
* Does God exist?
* If he does, then why doesn't He care about his creation?
* Why does Humanity afraid of the Unknown?...and so much more. It makes me dizzy just thinking about these questions. Hopefully we get some answers.

Archaeological Site Near Hoai, Romania...
Arthur, along with 10 excavators and archaeologists, kept searching for clues about the truth behind the texts. Arthur would always stay up all night drinking tea thinking about things. He could not sleep with the questions going over his head. He needed a break, but he was too determined to have one.
He wanted answers.
Finally...
------------------------------------------------------
September 16, 1981...
After a week of digging, they finally found something. Stanford, one of the excavators, stumbled upon something of interest.
He calls for Arthur, "Mr. Sherwood! I found something!"
Arthur rushed to the site, "What is it, Standford? What did you find?"
Stanford shows him a hole through the wallof dirt in the site he was digging in. The hole was deep than how his shovel struck it. Stanford rips through the wall of dirt revealing a cave.
"Phipps! Torches! Now!" Arthur ordered.
Phipps, an archaeologist, grabbed a bunch of flares and a camera that needed magnesium for light. He handed Arthur 2 flares. Arthur lit up the first and entered with caution. On the walls were murals depicting a story. It was perfectly preserved. It had a mix of Romanian, German, and Russian in the inscriptions. He then threw a flare in the dark hall and saw it stop in front of a large gate with symbols that looked to be occult symbols. The gate was blocked by debris.
Arthur was nervous but he kept his cool. He looked at the workers behind him and said,
"Get these debris cleared. And someone ride to Bucharest, I need Mr. Carter here As Soon As Possible."
The End... For Now.
