Beneath the Carpathian Mountains (A week later)

The distinct taps of horseshoes and the lashing of a whip can be heard under the moonlight.

"Oi! Hurry up! I need to get to town! These parts always give me the creeps!" The person inside the worn-out carriage shouts at the coachman.

"Yes Sire!" the coachman wearily said. He then whipped the horse to go faster. As time goes by, the atmosphere keeps getting creepier and creepier. The coachman, upon noticing the temperature drop from warm to cold, performed the sign of the cross. He then looks up to see...

A crescent moon...

"Umm, Sire? It is a night of the Devil. I believe you should pray for safe passage." He suggests.

"What?? Are you drunk?? There is no such thing as a Devil. Heck, there is no God either." The man inside says.

Howling of wolves can be heard. It sounded as if it was just coming from somewhere close. The coachman then whips the horse to get more speed. He takes the lantern to see what's ahead. He sees something that worried him so much... green eye shine. He then starts praying.

"Oi! Would you keep it down??" The man inside the carriage said.

"...Qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra..." prayed the coachman.

Suddenly, a creature charged at the carriage tipping it to the side causing the coachman to fall off. The man inside was being thrown around inside. The now-injured coachman tries to get up but was stomped on by a brown, hairy beast. It growls on the coachman's face.

"Your God will not save you from our hands." Ortega, the Brown Lycan and the leader of the pack growled at him. He then proceeded to feast on the poor coachman.

"Fergus? Where are you?" The man inside the carriage spoke out. The Lycans then looked at the carriage and bashed on it destroying the beautiful woodwork on the carriage. The man inside screamed in fear, like a girl.

A Lycan picks up the scared man carrying a wooden box which seemed to contain coins. The Lycan was about to feast on the poor man when the monster was sliced in half. The man fell to the ground dropping the box to the ground spilling the contents. The man looked up to see a young lady wearing a black hooded poncho holding a blade on her left hand.

"Are you all right Sir?" The young lady asked.

"I am fine but there are monsters surrounding us!" The man shouted.

"Ah, just the person we have been looking for." Ortega growled. "Lord Dracula will be pleased to know that you died by my hand!" Ortega arrogantly roared at her.

She aimed her blade at him standing in the way between Ortega and the poor man, "I am not dead yet."

"Lycans! Attack!" The Lycan leader howled. The Lycans began their assault. Her eyes glowed red in the cover of night. This caught the Lycans off guard. The reason being that they have only seen their Master, Dracula, with eyes like that.

Sophia quickly and gorily amputated the nearby Lycan's arms and stabbed its chest. Blood splattered on the floor and the scent of blood filled the air. The dead Lycan reverted back to it's human form. A traumatizing sight, for the man who was vomiting nearby. A Lycan then pounced at her bringing her to the floor. The Lycan started clawing her face but she was able to pierce her blade into the creatures chest before it was able to lay a finger on her flawless face. She pushed it off of her and ran at the nearest Lycan slicing its leg and skewered its temple. Some of the Lycans were now frightful for their lives and were hesitating on attacking the newborn.

"What are you cowards doing??!" The Brown Alpha roared at them.

"She brought down 4 of us Sire! We cannot defeat her Sire! She is too strong!" One of them cowered.

"You cowards!" He roared at them. He then charged towards Sophia with his knuckles on the ground. He leaps at the young girl like a wolverine. She was able to dodge by side-stepping. The monster then got back up and tried to smack her but she was able to block the attack with her elbows. She kicks the Lycan Alpha back.

"Enough of this! DIE NEWBORN!" Ortega roared in rage. The brown Lycan howled and charged towards her with its claws ready. She tried to dodge but was captured by the Lycan. The Lycan held for on her neck then lifted her up.

"Pathetic! No match for Or-" His words were cut short when he was decapitated. She landed on her feet and picked up the head of the fallen Alpha.

"Where is your Master!?" She demanded. The Lycans cowered in fear, all except for one. The one who was not afraid stepped forward.

"We will show you where." The silver-haired Lycan told her.

"Cornelius! Have you lost your mind!??" One of the Lycans growled at the silver-haired Lycan whose name, apparently, is Cornelius. Sophia stared at them telling them to keep quiet.

"If you would spare us, then we will show you where Lord Dracula is. All I care about is the safety of my brothers." Cornelius told her. The Lycans, realizing the reason of Cornelius' words, kept silent.

"You have my word, Cornelius. Now, where is Dracula?" She asked again.

"In the heart of the Hoai Forest. He resides there with his unholy slaves." Cornelius said.

"I see why the place is said to be haunted." Sophia remarked.

"His castle of darkness stands in the heart of the forest." Cornelius added.

"Take me there." Sophia ordered.

"As you wish." Cornelius said

The remaining Lycans now accompany Sophia on her journey to find the monster that turned her to what she she is: A monster. Cornelius the silver-haired Lycan is now the Alpha of the pack.

The man holding the box of silver ran like hell.

In the forest of Hoai...

The Lord of the Unholy awaits the arrival of the newborn. He summons his most trusted and most loyal of servants.

"My loyal servants, will you serve me until your dying breath?" He asks while sitting on his throne.

"Yes, My Lord! To the Death!" A monster with the head of a bull wielding a steel ax roared.

"Upon my dying breath, oh Prince of Darkness!" A monster with the talons and wings of a hawk screeched.

"We will serve you to the very end, my Lord!" Akuji, the leader of the ghouls, shouted.

"The plagues are yours to command, my liege." A monster with a swarm of locusts, flies, and maggots on his body swore.

"All my life, I have served you My Lord. I will not falter." A old, crooked woman with a slouched posture holding a sycamore stick as tall as herself promised.

Dracula got up of his seat and shouted, "Very well. Then I trust all of you on the task to destroy the nuisance that is the Newborn, Sophia. Do not disappoint me!!"

They all shouted, "Yes, my Lord! Praise the Prince of Darkness!"
