Jason stormed inside my house without any further conversation and I followed him in panic. He stopped in the living room and asked me about the directions to my room, apparently wanting to help me pack.

When Martha saw Jason, her face fell and Jason mirrored her expressions. They nodded at each other understandingly, conveying tons to each other through mere actions which confused me all the more.

" You need to go with him, Aurora." She said in a monotone. I wanted to ask her, I wanted to shower them both with questions but Martha's tone had made it clear that it would be of no use.

And because Martha was the one person I trusted the most after my mom, I am sitting in the window seat of an airplane which is taking us to London, to see my dad.

I take my eyes off of the starry scenery on my left and look at my other side at Jason. His head is resting on the head rest and his eyes are closed. I study his features curiously, noting how his stubble had grown.

One of the few things I know about my boyfriend is how he hates facial hair poking out of his cheeks. He always keeps it smooth. I sigh thinking about the seriousness of the situation. How bad has it been that Jason didn't even shave.

He must have felt me staring at him as his left eye pops open and meets mine. He lazily smiles at me and straightens his head. I notice how the bags under his eyes have become darker. Not able to keep it in anymore, I ask him," How do you know my dad?" The smile falls from his face and he turns away to look in front.

" I am sorry, Aurora, but I am bound. I can't tell you anything until you meet him." He says.

" Bound!" I repeat to which he nods. He takes a deep breath." Just a few more hours, okay? All of your questions will answered." He smiles slyly this time, altering his demeanor a bit. I give him a skeptical look.

He clears his throat." Hello." He extends his hand towards me." I am Jason Miller." I scoff at his role play choice and take his hand, shaking it." Hi! Aurora Welsky." I reply.

" Wow. Pretty name suits a pretty face. Looks like it's my lucky day today. " He flirts. My eyebrow shoots up." Sorry, but I already have an amazing boyfriend."

He frowns, making me chuckle." Lucky bastard!" He comments and I laugh this time. He smirks at me. " Come here." He says and pushes up the armrest between us, putting his arm around my waist and pulling me into him. He covers us with a comforter and surrounds me with his arms.

He kisses my head and rests his chin on it. " Now sleep for sometime." I didn't want to but the whole tiresome day was finally paralysing my body and the steady rhythm of Jason's heartbeat under my head was working like a lullaby. I pass out into a dreamless sleep in the safety of his arms with a small smile on my face.

" Baby?" His husky voice reaches my ears and I hum in response." Baby? Wake up. We're here." I slowly open my eyes. Realising that half of my bodyweight is on Jason and my arms are completely wrapped around his waist, I give him a squeeze and shift towards the window.

He gets off his seat and pulls out my handbag out of the carrier above us. He gives me his hand to take." Come on, let's go."

After picking my luggage, as Jason wasn't carrying any bags, we reach outside and my head turns towards the long line of people near the taxi stand even though its almost five in the morning. Catching my defeated look, he smirks. He takes my hand and leads me out of the crowd.

When we stop outside the car parking, he takes out his phone and dials. The person on the other side picks up immediately." We've reached." Jason says and hangs up, adding another pile to my confusion.
