Lisa had her eyes trailing among the tall buildings as they drove into the now corrupt city.

Most things had their touch of destruction, she could still see people running around and often would she see the already decayed bodies dragging themselves forward, and having a shiver go up her spine at such a horrifying sight.

And to think this was the place she once thought was home.

She was sat in the back of the car with Changkyun, Hyungwon and Minhyuk, sat at the front was Hoseok and Hyunwoo. The entire ride was awkwardly quiet, but not that Lisa had particularly cared, she only stared out the window the entire time. She didn't know where they were going to stop, she didn't know what they were going to do, she could only wait anxiously for what was going to happen next.

Her eyes trail down and to her hands, earlier before they left the factory, she was given a handgun by Hyunwoo. He explained that once they come to a stop, he would unlock the gun and teach how to do it, too.

Lisa flinches in her own skin when starting to feel the car come to a stop, she looks around outside to see they were going to be parking in an deserted street. But after her experience in the convenience store, she would even be doubting empty places.

"Okay, let's unload the car." Hyunwoo unlocks the doors and everyone gets out, one after the other. The only girl in the group trailed behind the boys as they went for the boot of the car, her eyes dart around carefully, in a silent panic.

It was still early in the morning, she looks over the buildings and even toward the end and mouth of the street. Where were they going to go?

"Lisa, I'll be leaving you with the handgun." Hyunwoo's voice snaps the female out of her inner worries, Lisa nods her head to show she is paying attention to him but he also hands her a small bag that she could put around her waist. "This is in case you need to reload your gun, though you won't be using it much, leave the shooting to Hoseok and Changkyun."

For a moment she was confused, the male turns around to face the rest of their group, who looked much confident than she felt while holding their own weapons. "This time, I'll be going with Minhyuk and Hyungwon, Hoseok, Changkyun, you will be taking care of Lisa." He looks at her from over his shoulder and gives a comforting smile. "But it might be the other way round."

Lisa tried her best to smile back, her lips tugging into a wry smile. I doubt that.

I always looked ahead of me, silence settled in between me, Changkyun and Hoseok as we walk around. It's been over an hour. We walked stealthily, and thanks to that, there were barely any actual encounters with the zombies.

We never walked with much of a big distance between ourselves, unless Hoseok was always the one to check corners and give signals for us to walk ahead.

Never speaking to one another, that didn't make my heart beat any less faster in anticipation of the danger that could attack us any time. We didn't have any particular destination, just looking for new supplements, I supposed.

But just as we were about to turn another corner, Hoseok raised him hand and Changkyun pulls me back, just like the other six times he'd done so and still never failing to have my breath caught at the top of my throat that fear that is quick to crawl up from my toes and to the top of my head.

Those are the times that my imagination runs wild, no matter what Changkyun had told me before every time I froze up. Hoseok is silent and only his head turns to analyze the area, until this time, I came to notice his was staring at something for a bit too long.

His hand raised and he turned to us. I saw him mouth. "Police station." Changkyun's grip seemed to loosen a bit around me but not really letting go.

Hoseok walks ahead and we go straight after him, my eyes peering around dubiously at the empty street until we come front to front with a tall metal gate. While we wait for the male to find a way to quick get rid of the chains that were put around as locks, I jump in my own skin and having my hands come up to quiet down my own shriek when hearing a gun shot in the distance.

Us three turned toward the source, wondering what it was and who, it could've been people from our group or even someone else. But none of that mattered anymore it seemed when hating the chains hitting the ground, Hoseok grabbed both me and Changkyun, dragging us in before grabbing the chain once and tying around the gates again.

With now words said between us, we went inside, pushing the large doors open and finally, stepping into silence, but still, alert to my surroundings.

"We're going to inspect this building." I heard Hoseok finally say. "And whatever we can find, we grab. Anything goes." Changkyun and I nod before we all go into different directions, which somewhat made me already terrified of the building.

We all had no idea of what was in the building, as much as it was locked on the outside, we couldn't assume it was safe. Therefore, I suppose that was also what lead Hoseok to tell us to look through everything we could.

Their footsteps faintly echoed into my ears whilst I walked almost on my top toes, the hand gun I held was being tightly gripped by me for dear life. I pushed open my first door, the storage room, it seemed.

My hands going to the walls for a switch, and luckily, I was able to find one. My fingers press down on it and lights flicker until finally illuminating the room, I saw long aisles of almost endless supplies. Quickly tugging on the backpack I had with me, I look around for anything I could take.

For some time, I could only see files and files, I was about to give up the search until movement caught my eye. And instantly, just like before, I stop.

Movements instantly halted as my heart picks up its speed and my hands shake whilst holding onto the straps of the bags. Inhaling shakily, I turn my body only by the slightest.

"Changkyun?" I whispered. "Hoseok?"

My body temperature seemed to drop and the goosebumps on my arms rise when hearing the now recognizable sound of a gun cocking itself. The sound coming from the end of the aisle I had been in, and when I turn, I see a female with dark brow hair.

Whose hands were shaking, tears streaming heavily down her cheeks from her eyes and face so heavily fitted by blood that it even terrified me.

But even more, when I saw that her shaking hands had been the ones who held and cocked a gun.

   Which was aimed towards me.
