When the other half of the group arrived, Lisa glanced at the clock to see that it was the crack of dawn like how they arrived yesterday.

They all came into the kitchen area — which was bigger than any kitchen the girl had seen before, even in TV shows. And unlike yesterday, they didn't have any stains of blood on their clothes.

Yerim had her eyes meet Lisa's the moment she walked in, and her small figure had slowly become tense as she tried her best to dodge her eyes and person. The latter felt bad, all she wanted was to be able to talk to her best friend again, especially in times like this, when she had so many things on her mind that was she wanted to say.

But since everyone suddenly became lovely at their reunion after hours, she decided that she would put it aside to not ruin the atmosphere. Everyone was taking part in conversations, but not once would they bring up about what happened outside.

"Did you sleep okay?" Lisa snapped her head to the side when hearing Changkyun's question. He had the same smile from earlier, one that would steadily make her speak.

She sheepishly nods her head. "I did, thanks."

"Are you sharing a room with the girls?"

"No," she sadly shakes her head. "Yerim wanted a room for herself and Sooyoung. But not that I mind, of course."

The girl knew that he must've known otherwise, but thankfully he had not pressed further. Changkyun hummed. "Your friend, Yerim, she helped us a lot." Lisa raised her head at the mention of her out there. "Of course, we didn't give her any gun or anything like, but still, she followed every instruction."

Lisa smiled warmly. "I'm glad. Thank you for looking after her out there." He only smiled in return.

The girl had not noticed for how long they've been chatting. For all she knew, it felt as if the outside world was how she wished it was right now, but who wouldn't. In that kitchen, when everyone felt so lively, chatting among themselves of things that would probably be impossible doing outside.

But with the way they were all acting, they all made it seem possible. Changkyun and Lisa were at one of the corners, talking as if they were close friends, and the girl felt thankful to how easy it was to talk to him.

She had thanked him so many times during their conversation, for everything; for saving her out there, for taking them in, for helping them. And no matter how many times she thanked them, he would only smile and say that he had been more than happy to do so.

"Oh yeah," Lisa came to realise. "maybe we should take food for Sooyoung." She turned Yerim's way. And after the long conversations she had with Changkyun, she had forgotten about everything that happened.
