The female didn't know for how long she had started running for, to her it seemed like hours.

Lisa could only hope that Yerim or Sooyoung had not woken up in the time she was running. The axe was weighing her down and having her become tired quicker, her lungs felt as if they would be running out of oxygen soon. But she didn't stop. She knew she couldn't.

Then, in the distance, she saw light - and making her slow down. Light? She narrowed her eyes to inspect if it really was a gas station. The girl's tired legs continued to work, running and as the got closer and closer, much to her relief, it really had been a gas station.

Her legs came to an abrupt stop. Realisation came to her along with the alarms going off in her mind, be careful, they screamed, turn back, they would try to plead. The female knew she needed to get gasoline for the car, but hell - this was almost too scary. By now, she could easily call the station abandoned since there were no cars in sight but, only the lights turned on.

Her breath trembled as Lisa tried to regain it back - it wasn't easy when her heart started to beat furiously against her chest, adding further warnings. The axe was brought closer to her chest, her legs trembling as she was now slowly starting to walk again like a new-born fawn. Fear consumed her entirely.

Brown eyes darted around cautiously before Lisa fastened her pace. All she needed to do was get a bottle of gasoline and dart out there, nothing too hard, they are quite slow, if she's fast enough, they won't be able to catch up and can give her enough time to refill the car if anything.

Her foot stepped into the light, her breath caught up in her throat the moment it did so, her sight became narrowed again and it felt as if she could hear anything - such as how irregular her breathing was and her heart raging on.

Nothing. There was nothing seen at the gas station, she saw nobody even inside the small convenience store even though its light was on - her guard was up high.

"Just get the jug of what you need." She reminded herself in a murmur and fastening her pace. There were no jugs outside and so only leading to one place where it could possibly be.

Lisa trembled even more at the though of it. Nobody was around and something looked wrong: it was almost evident, a deserted place, nobody around. Clearly, the zombies have already been there. But she needed that gasoline jug to save Yerim and Sooyoung, to get them out of the middle of nowhere and somewhere safe.

Somewhere safe, somewhere safe... it repeated in her head. By now would there really be a place like this?

The door was pushed open and having Lisa's body jump at the sound of the bell that resonated through the store, just from that, she felt like fainting. She moved quickly, where would the jugs be? In the back of the store perhaps?

She carefully made her way there, focusing on everything around her, the sounds of the air-con, how the fridges were till running, everything. She saw the glimpse of a jug handle, her hand was already about to reach out for it but her body was quick to freeze in place upon hearing the sound of something breaking

Lisa could've easily brushed it off, just a sound from her head, she had been paranoid ever since she saw the first zombie biting down on the boy who looked close to her age in the middle of the shopping mall. She could've easily just thought, no, it was probably something falling from one of the shelves - but only to be proven wrong when hearing it again.

This time, louder than before and clearer, she heard shuffling too. Her footsteps became lighter, she was now stepping on eggshells as she walked over to the jug, her reached for it and she crouched down. Cold sweat accumulating on her back as she was now crouching to the ground, she didn't even dare to breath.

Her hand that held onto the axe flinched when hearing it again, her mind screamed for her to not look in the direction of the noise, it begged for her to just stand up and leave, it won't notice her if she did so. But Lisa took a glance and she wanted to scream.

Bloodied stains were all over the floor, she could see a woman who wore the uniform of the convenience store looking directly at her, her eyes wide, pupils dilated from the fear she felt and her hair looking a like mess beneath her head, her name had been so tainted with blood it was impossible to read her name.

Her eyes glanced the other half of her body that disappeared after the door, it was in there. She needed to get out of there.

Lisa was about to stand up, but too quickly and so her trembling legs lost their balance, that was it. Her hands by instinct reached for anything to hold on, the shelves behind her shook and allowing some of its items fall from it, they cracked onto the floor and floor and glass splattered everywhere.

The breaking sounds stopped amidst of everything, the female let out a trembled sigh before moving behind the shelf. now it had been both the axe and gasoline jug that weighed her down, it was going to be hard, it was going to make her even slower when running.

Low grunts and moans could be heard, when focusing properly, she heard footsteps - they didn't sounded synchronised, were there two zombies in there with her? Lisa's eyes pricked with tears, making her her teeth dig into her lower lip to keep them from falling, she felt terrified again. Who wouldn't?

They were walking in the aisle behind her, she was facing the refrigerators, and she could see the reflection of their heads on the glass when glancing up. They moved slowly towards the entrance of the shop, her plan was to move behind them and maybe even cause a distraction along the way.

The girl carefully made her way around the aisle opposite them, keeping her eyes on them at all times as she moved towards the end, Lisa turned around and tip toed towards the other side of the store and glancing their way when passing in the aisle they were in.

A boy and a girl, both of their clothes ragged and multiple parts of their body having bite marks and dip red blood oozed from them, Lisa continuously had her eyes focused on them as she made her way past the aisle. Only when the shelves filled her sight again did she look forward.

But when feeling a cold hand attach itself to her ankle, she froze. Her eyes snapped down quickly and saw that the same female worker that she saw on the floor, dead - was now looking up at her with blue hollow eyes and her mouth gaped open, the rotten flesh inside it was quite evident as well as on the outside that was slowly manifesting.

Lisa screamed.
