My daily routine was waking up as early as I could to train myself. It was, yet again, a sleepless night for me. I decided to work on my powers today and then work on Maddie, an AI I have been working on. I change into black spandex and a black tank top. I walk down the stairs and turn into the living room. Turning on the record player, 'Be my baby' by the Ronettes played. I sauntered into the kitchen, getting things out for breakfast. I mixed cream and cut up small strawberries into the mix. I placed a protein shake on the table next to my bowl. I sighed as I grabbed my watch. "Maddie, can you tell me how the weather's gonna be today?"

"All sunny today, Mrs. Barnes." "Thank you Maddie." Finishing up my food, quickly chugging my protein shake, I went to the front of the house and placed my shoes on. I began to walk to the trail, "Maddie what was my time for my last run?" "It was 7 minutes and 52 seconds." I nodded as I went started at the rocky pavement. Making sure my shoes were tied tightly, I pulled in some wireless headphones. Hell Above came on by Pierce the Veil, "Maddie, record my time." "Yes, Mrs. Barnes." I began to run as fast as I could. I hopped over some fallen branches, blasting my hues as some targets I had put up. I could see my house in view and I sped up faster. My hair began to change into the grey-silverish color at the last minute.

I stopped as I skid across the floor. "Your time is 5 minutes and 8 seconds. Good job, Mrs. Barnes." Huffing as I tried to catch my breath, I paused my music. Laying on the grass, the wind gave me slight comfort from my overheated body. I pushed myself up and trudging into my house. A purple hue came up into my hand as I lifted up a piece of wood that lead to the basement. "Alright Maddie, Let's work on you today. I'm hoping we can have you done by the time we find Bucky." I grabbed some tools out of the box, opening up a lid on my work. It took almost two hours until I finally got it done. "Well, I thought it would've taken longer." I checked the time and saw it was already 6 pm.

I walked up the steps, placing the wood back in place. "Incoming call from.... Clint Barton." I pressed the green button on my hologram. "Hey Clint! How's everything going with the kids?" I said as fixed the pillows on my couch. "They're doing great. I just wanted to check up on you. Make sure you're okay." I lightly laughed as I sat down. "Clint, you call basically everyday. I'm doing fine. Just by myself like always." I heard him sigh, "You know, you could always stay with Laura and me. My kids miss you and they always ask for you." I couldn't help but sigh as well. "I know Clint. I am very grateful but I have to find him. I'm so close." My voice full of desperation. "Well, I believe in you. Try to call me once in awhile. I seem like a crazy dad trying to call their rebel teenage daughter." I laughed and Laura could be heard in the background, calling for dinner.

"I will. I'll try to see you guys soon."
