The green, rolling hills of the countryside of France. Butterflies roam freely while the chirping birds sing their song. I haven't had this much peace and quiet in awhile. I pick the fresh strawberries from their vines, placing them into a blanket covered picnic basket. My yellow sundress sways against the slight breeze. The sound of nature gave me a sense of comfort. This is what I needed. I held onto Bucky's ring which was still placed on the silver necklace. I sighed in content, wishing I could share this experience with him. Lately, I spent most of my time getting better at controlling my power and looking for Bucky. Imagining what my life would be like if he was here with me right now. No worries at all. Just him and me, against the world. I began to walk back to the small two story house that I found after I landed in France.
A simple two story house with a pale yellow base and beautiful exotic flowers surrounding it. The interior had all the furniture I needed. When I first got here, it was like the family had just vanished, leaving every memory behind. I made myself at home and basically took care of the house everyday. A life I wished I had before everything that had happened.
