CHAPTER ONE:

JOB ADVERTISEMENT:

REQUIRED..

CEO of Hart Enterprises is in need of a Personal Assistant who will provide domestic services and perform tasks given in the correct manor.

Duties will include:

- Running errands.

- Accompany Mr Hart if needed.

- Answering telephone calls.

- Assisting the master of the house with any necessary jobs.

The perfect candidate must be well organised and trustworthy.

In return you will be given meals and a reasonable salary.

Scribbling the contact information from the recruitment agency window onto her well equipped notepad, a small smirk escapes the young woman's lips. Who would have thought Annabelle Smith, daughter of the late Rockstar Patrick Smith would be applying for the job as a personal assistant. Anna was only 21 yet her life was already one big roller coaster. Her mother left when she was only 6 months old, losing her father in a car crash 3 years ago, becoming an orphan and all of her fathers heritage handed to her evil, gold digging stepmother, her life was falling apart.v

"Miss you dad." Anna whispers to herself as tears begin to form in her eyes. Being the strong woman she is, she holds them back and focuses on the next step.

Shoving the notepad back into her bag, she begins to make her way down the cobbled street, the piercing, winter wind sweeping her long, brunette hair into her face as she clutches onto her coat. The morning clouds threaten to rain as Anna comes to a halt at a small phone box, just about squeezing in.

After dialling a number she knows all too well, the phone rings twice before a female voice answers.

"Anna is that you? Damn girl where have you been? Jimmy's been asking questions." Kate, Anna's roommate asks quickly and loudly.

"I will deal with Jimmy later, I need you to meet me at the Internet cafe on 34th street right now." Anna commands.

"Yes but what if he sees me, you know we owe him 2 months ren..." Before Kate can finish her sentence, Anna hangs up placing the phone back and heading on towards 34th street.

"What is so urgent?" Kate asks sternly, whilst approaching Anna who is already sat at a computer. Anna looks up at her, not surprised that she's in 6inch heels and a long beige fur coat. She has only known Kate 4 months, yet it doesn't surprise her that her friend dresses up like a high street fashion model. Kate swishes her long blonde locks before taking a seat next to Anna.

"So you know I've been looking for a job? Well I think I've found the perfect one, I'm just looking the company up now." Anna replies, eyes locked on to the computer screen.
