Chapter Three...

"It's really distracting when you do that." Annabelle frowned at him confusingly until she realised she had been caught biting her lip, her cheeks heat under the realisation that Noah is glaring with curiosty at her. He is so young, so attractive and it makes her nervous.

"I didn't know you were so easily distracted Mr Hart." She smirks.

"Damn it Annabelle be professional." the voice in her head chanted. The cockiness of her attitude struck Noah and left him in awe, his grin softened as he began to truly taking in Anna's features. Her hair was a rich shade of mahagony. It flowed in waves and made her glowing, fair skin stand out. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were a dark, chocolate brown and seemed to brighten the room around him. The way her rose pink lips parted when she took a breath made his heart flutter.

"She could make a pretty good distraction." His inner voice laughed.

"Is your attitude heredatory Annabelle." Noah eyes scan Anna, eager for a reply.

"You could say that." Her tone calm and intriguing. Yet all the nerves in her body were tingling as this man was watching her every move, she couldnt help but feel like she was under his control. Noah's eyebrows arched in suprise.

"Do you live by yourself." But before Anna could act, she heard a loud chuckle from Noah.

"Let me guess, an apartment in the middle of town preferbaly with a friend?" His words made Anna freeze to the spot, her stomach dropped as she remembered she was just kicked out an hour ago.

"Are you going to ask me any questions about the job Mr Hart?"

Suddenly Noah was on his feet, straightening out his tie before heading towards the broad glass cabinet in the corner of his very large office. Opening the door slowly, he pulls out a glass and a bottle of whiskey. Noah laughs quietly whilst pouring a drink, attracting Anna's attention.

"Would you like a drink Annabelle?" He asks, gesturing the drink across the room towards her. A smirk escaping his lips.

Anna began to feel the anger burning inside her. Why is he not acting professional? This job could change her life around yet this arrogant man thinks it's some sort of joke.

"Don't you think it's too early in the day?" She snaps back sternly, her blood beginning to boil as Noah shrugs her reply off and takes a swig of the drink. "What is with this man and his mood swings." Anna thought to herself. If it wasn't for her needing the money, she would have stormed off beforehand.

"It's plain and simple really, attending to my needs, escorting me when necessary, whatever I need, you deliver." He laughs at his own words as the cold liquor cascades down his throat. He loves acting dominant and controlling. Anna couldn't believe someone so childish and unprofessional like him could run his own company.

"You know, you already have the job, I'm just playing with you Annabelle stop being so serious." He was still in the same position, the glass clasped firmly in his hand yet his eyes were lost in hers.

"Excuse me?" Anna stuttered as he moved across the room towards the floor to ceiling glass window that shed the last of the afternoon sun in.

"You can start tomorrow at 8am sharp, I will get Verity to call you in the morning and send a car to pick you up, you may go now." He gestured Anna towards the door who looked both stunned and suprised before he turned to gaze out of the window onto the beautiful estate gardens. He was beggining to feel aggitated and uncomfortable as he couldn't grasp control of his feelings towards Anna and he needed to be alone.
