Chapter 35: Unexpected Love

Optimus and Shadow were as happy as can be along with Ratchet and Night Bird, and Arcee and Jazz, and BloodClaw and Razor-Blade. A nwpew Love develops in the commotion. One we know too well love of of humans. In the the days of them getting older, 21 year old Jack and 20 year old Miko have gotten quite close.

General Narration

Jack: "H-hey Miko. What you up to?"

Miko: "Oh hi Jack I'm not doing much. You?"

Jack: "Same. My mom says hi by the way."

Miko smiled and gave a small chuckle. She looked up at him and replied.

Miko: "Tell her I said hi."

Jack: "Ok. ..........Uh Miko would you.......like to go out to........dinner with me?"

Miko's eyes widend but then were replaced by smile that crawled upon her lips. She stood up from where she sat and walked up to Jack.

Miko: "I would love too."

Jack smiled and blushed while Miko did the same. Bluestreak overheard their conversation and smiled.

Bluestreak: "Jack and Miko Sitting In A Tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G First Comes

Love Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes A Baby In Craddle Carriage."

Everyone came into the room hearing Bluestreak's little tune with optics pealed wide open. Everyone was noticing the redness on Jack's face.

Optimus: "Jack why is your face red."

Shadow: "Oh my Primus. You're. You're Blushing."

Jack: "HUH? WHA...........N-NO I'M NOT. WHY WOULD I. HEHE?"

Arcee P.O.V

Jack was completely nervous. Everyone had noticed him blushing. Miko was just standing there giggling and was also blushing as Jack freaked out. I gave a small chuckle, unfortunately Jack herd me.

Jack: "Wha-What? Why are you laughing Arcee."

Arcee: " Jack I'm your guardian, friend, and somewhat of a wingman. I like Miko."

Jack: "What no I don't. Well I do like her not in that way."

Miko: "Then why where you hesitating to ask me out? Hmm?"

Raf: "Jack just admit it you've got it bad for Miko. For the past few months."

Jack: "Uhhhhhhhhhhh.................Okay fine you got me. I.........like Miko."

Bluestreak: "What are the magic words."

Optimus: "Jack I understand you may be nervous bit it's quite simple. Just look at me and Shadow. How happy we are together with our twins. Same goes for you."

Jack: "Thanks Optimus.

Jack sighed in defeat and stepped down to one knee facing Miko. He took a deep breath and took Miko's hand in his.

Jack: "Miko we've known each other for a long time. I have grown quite attached to you in the past few months. And I was wondering if I could ask you something?"

General Narration

Miko's eyes widend as she breathed faster while her heart beat faster at Jack performance. She nodded her head at his question not trusting herself to speak.

Jack: "Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Miko smiled as the others watched in awe. Arcee was definitely enjoying this. Bulkhead.........not so much. He narrowed his optics without anyone noticing.

Miko: "Jackson Darby. I would love to be your girlfriend."

Jack and Miko smiled as they stood up forgetting they were surrounded by autobots. She placed her arms around his neck while he placed them around her waist holding her tightly. Jack kissed Miko on her lips as the autobots cheered in joy. Bulkhead gave in and rolled his optics as he smiled. He was happy for Miko. The autobots kept cheering all but Optimus. He didn't cheer he simply nodded at Jack while he placed a cervo on Shadow's shoulder.

Bulkhead: "If you hurt her you have me to deal with."

Bulkhead said to Jack playfully while Arcee did the same to Miko then turned to Bulkhead.

Arcee: "Miko if you hurt him I will hunt you down. Bulkhead if you lay a single digit on him I will turn you into a lobbing ball."

Arcee was most of the time was serious but at this moment she was playing around with Bulkhead and Miko while Bulkhead played around with Jack. The autobots burst out laughing. Well most of them. The ones who didn't laugh were Optimus, Shadow, Razor-Blade, and Ratchet.

Ratchet: "Humans."

Ratchet said annoyed as ever while Shadow didn't approve of his comment.

Shadow: "Don't even go their Ratchet or you'll end up as beaten up as Megatron did."

Ratchet: "I'm sorry."

Optimus: "I think it would be wise to watch how you speak about humans old friend. We have humans among us and an autobot who came to be from a human."

Ratchet: "I'll try."

The Next Day

General Narration

Jack picked up Miko at eight. He didn't want to upset Miko so he actually had to take one of the autobots along for the drive. He knew she didn't like riding non-transforming vehicle. He had chosen Bluestreak to accompany him. She had taken the form of a w014 camaro with her paint job to top it of. Jack had arrived at a Chinese restaurant, which Miko loved.

Miko: "Wow. Jack I can't believe you remembered that I don't like ridind in a non-transforming vehicle and that I love Chinese food. You're so sweet."

Jack: "I wanted to dod it to make you happy babe."

Miko smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek.

Jack P.O.V

I pulled out a chair for Miko as she sat down. I then went to my seat. I was happy to be with the one I loved. Trully loved.

Miko: "Jack?"

Jack: "Yes Miko?"

Miko: "Will you promise me something."

Jack: "Of course anything Miko."

Miko: "Promise me that you wont abandoned me like many have done."

Jack: "I promise. Because I love you too much to ever love you."

Miko smiled and held Jack's hand. And all through the date they laughed, held hands, and kissed until they left.

Miko: "I love you."

Jack: "I love you too Miko."
