Chapter 42: Devastation part 2

Rosemary: "DADDYYYYYY NOOO."

Shadow: "OPTIMUS NO."

Optimus had intercepted the blow from Megatron. Optimus stood over his daughter's body with Megatron's sword in his body. The blow had gone through his back and right below his spark chamber. Megatron smiled as he carelessly pulled out his sword from Optimus's body. As he did Optimus fell to the side. Rosemary looked at Megatron with such hate. Her optics turned from blue to blood red just Optimus's optics had done before. She roared with every ounce of breath in her body still looking straight at Megatron. She grew razored dentas like Shadow had and black wings with knives as feathers. She lunged at Megatron growling. Shadow and Orion ran to Optimus's still form. Razor-Blade came up behind them and called for a bridge.

Razor-Blade: "RATCHET WE NEED A BRIDGE NOW PREPARE SICK BAY."

Ratchet: "Understood."

Razor-Blade went to the other side of Optimus and lifted him carefully. Shadow accompanied Razor-Blade.

Razor-Blade: "Autobots fall back."

Orion went for his sister. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her a bit. She looked at him, optics still blazing red. He nodded and pulled her through the ground bridge, leaving Megatron on the ground bleeding from his side and lip. The autobots entered the ground bridge and came intovthe autobot base. Razor-Blade placed Optimus on the med bay as Shadow, Rosemary, and Orion came in. Shadow and Rosemary were tearing up. Ratchet began his work. The moniters were online as they began to beep on Optimus's condition.

Shadow: "Oh my Primus."

Rosemary: "This is my fault."

Orion: "No it isn't."

Rosemary: "This would have never happened if I was fast enough."

Ratchet: "You three must go."

Optimus: "..............Sh............Shadow."

Shadow: "No I'm not leaving him."

Bandit came up into the infirmary and placed a servo on her shoulder.

Bandit: "Shadow listen to me. He's gonna be ok."

Shadow: "Bandit. He's leaking large amounts of energon. Has an open wound bigger than his cervo. Tell me how is he gonna be ok?"

Bandit: "He's survived far worst."

Shadow cried as Bandit held her close to him he led her out of the infirmary and into the main control room. He stroked the back of her helm. The other autobots came up to Shadow, Rosemary, and Orion. Arcee, Night Bird, and BloodClaw all went up to Shadow and embraced her one at a time. Bluestreak went up to Orion as he burried his helm in her neck cables and held her closely wanting the comfort. She stroked his helm and whispered to him.

Bluestreak: "It's gonna be ok."

She kissed his temple as he held her tighter. Wing-Blade held Rosemary tight as she cried, she too wanting the comfort. Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Cliffjumper placed a servo on Orion's shoulder as they later hugged Rosemary and Shadow. The others did the exact same thing.

Orion: "Mom?"

Shadow: "Yes baby?"

Orion: "He's going to be ok right?"

Orion said as tears slipped down his faceplate. Shadow only hugged her son not knowing what to say.

Shadow: "I don't know baby."
