Sleeping Beauty (A Sheith AU)

Chapter 2

With Lotor gone, Everyone was in full on Panic mode.

Krolia held her son close, frightened.

"Lance, Hunk, Pidge, please tell me you can fix this!" The king asked.

"We're sorry, There's nothing we could do!" Lance said.

"Yeah, Lotor's spells are a little to hard to get rid of." Hunk said.

There was a bit of silence.

Just then, a thought popped into Lance's head.

"Wait! Pidge didn't get to give her gift yet!" Lance said.

Pidge's face lit up. "That's right!" She said As stepped closer to Krolia.

"So she can undo the curse?" The king asked.

"Oh no, Lotor's powers are too strong to undo." Hunk said.

"Indeed, However, Pidge can probably change it up a bit, but not entirely." Lance said.

"Let me see the kid." Pidge said as she stepped closer to Krolia.

Krolia bent down to Pidge's level so Pidge can get closer to Keith.

Pidge placed a hand on Keith's tiny forehead and waved her wand.

"Sweet Prince, This wasn't my gift I intended to give but I'm here to switch this awful curse a bit." She said.

"Once you prick your finger on that spinning wheel on your 18th birthday, you will not die, but you will However fall into a deep sleep." She said.

Krolia sighed in relief knowing her son won't die. "And how will this curse be broken?" The king asked.

"The only way the curse will be broken is with his ture love's kiss." Pidge said. "That's really all I could do."

"It's quite alright, there probably wasn't really much to do but Thank you." The King said.

The three fairies nodded.

After the Chistening nightmare, The King then ordered the guards to collect all spinning wheels in the kingdom.

And with that, they burned and distroyed them all.

The fairies watched the fire burn from a distance with expressions on their faces.

The King sat in his throne room with his life long friend, another King from a neighboring Kingdom and his 7 year old son Prince Takashi Shirogane, or as they called him "Shiro" for short.

"I am deeply sorry for the touble that has been caused." He said.

"No need to apologize, It's not your fault." The king said.

"It was that blasted Purple lotion." Queen Krolia said bouncing Keith slightly in her arms.

"Well if it makes you feel a bit better, My son has a little gift for the little Prince." He said.

"That's wonderful, thank you." Krolia said.

Little Shiro brought the gift forward to the baby Prince as he also took a look at him.

You see, They were also invited to the Christening to not only meet the prince, but for Shiro to see Who his future spouse. Funny story, This was all planned out because there weren't any Princesses around for Shiro so They just betrothed him to Keith.

(A/N: I mean you gotta agree with them I mean they're not wrong.... Right???)

Meanwhile with the Fairies, They sat in another room discussing what was going on while they watched the bonfire.

"This is just crazy..." Lance said.

Pidge and Hunk were sitting down at a table watching Lance.

"Chill Lance, here have some tea." Hunk said as he made tea magically appear and handed a cup to Pidge.

Lance sighed as he walked over picked up a cup.

"Seriously I'd love give that Lotor a major beating." Pidge said.

"Now Pidge remember, We're supposed to be good Fairies, We bring joy." Hunk said.

Lance then had an Idea.

"I got it!" He said. "I'll turn Keith into a flower!"

"Good Idea! He'd make a great flower!" Hunk said.

"Until Lotor makes Frost happen..." Pidge mumbled.

Lance and Hunk froze...

"Ohhhhhh...." They said.

"Then again... Lotor did always ruin your flowers.." Hunk said as he patted Lance on the back.

"Yeah he doesn't know how to be nice or know the Joy of helping others.." Pidge says.

Lance thought again. An so another Idea was made.

"Well I think I know what to do!" Lance said. "We need to Take Keith away for protection. Of course the King and Queen will object and all but it's all we can do."

"I mean, your not wrong, he isn't really safe here right now and Maybe Lotor might show up again..." Hunk said.

"Well Luckily I know people in a cottage in the woods who will gladly take him in..." Lance said.

"Who?" Pidge asked.

Lance then used his wand and tranformed their clothings.

Lance And Hunk wore typical Clothes men wore in their colors and Pidge wore a green typical Villaige dress with an apron.

"Ta-da!" Lance said.

"Wha-? Us?" Hunk said.

"Yep!" Lance said.

"But we don't know how to take care of a baby!" Pidge said.

"We can learn Pidge, We just have to keep this Kid safe." Lance said.

He wasn't wrong, so Pidge and Hunk nodded in agreement.

Later on, They explained to the King and Queen Everything.

The King and Queen agreed for the safety of their son.

Only on one condition...

They take Keith for protection, They must bring him back to them on his 18th Birthday after sunset.

Which they gladly accepted.

So that night, Lance, Hunk, and Pidge wore their cloaks with Baby Keith wrapped in a Red bundle.

Lance held the Baby close to him as the three ran off into the night.

The King and Queen watched as the three fairies dashed away with their son in their care.

But they know that one day... Their son will come back to them...
