Sleeping Beauty (A Sheith AU)

Chapter 7

Keith and Shiro just stood there and enjoyed the view.

"What's your name?" Shiro asked.

"My name?" Keith said as he looked at Shiro and looked into his dark eyes "It's..."

Then Keith remembered....

"No I can't!" Keith said as he began to dash away from Shiro.

"Wait!" Shiro shouted. "When Can I see you again?"

"Never!" Keith said as he dashed and grabbed his scarf and basket full of berries.

(A/N: I hope they don't throw them oit the window again XD)

"Never?" Shiro asked with a bit of a frown.

"Well..." Keith thought. "Maybe..."

"When? Tomorrow?" Shiro asked.

"How about Tonight!" Keith said.

"Where?" Shiro asked as his face lit up.

"At The cottage by the stream!" Keith informed. "Goodbye now!" He said as he left.

Shiro just stood there as he watched the boy dash away.

Believe it or not, while that little meeting, dancing, and running went on with Keith....

The color war was still going.

And it got a bit intense.

While all that went on, Pidge and Lance kept fighting for the darn color on making it blue or red.

It was even to the point where Pidge jumped on lance to prevent him from turning it blue.

Then Lance fought back by holding down the small girl to turn it blue.

It was crazy!

Meanwhile, Hunk finished placing final touches to the cake.

"And Done!" He said. "Keith is gonna lo-" he turned around to see their little crazy battle.

"What on earth!" He said.

Pidge and Lance then used both of their magic at the same time to turn the dress either red or blue...

Until they turned the dress into a splattered mess or both colors.

"Oh no!" Lance said.

"Good job Lance." Pidge said.

"Me?!" Lance said. "You started it."

Just then, they began to hear wonderful humming from outside.

Keith!

"It's Keith!" Hunk said.

Lance and Pidge both turned their outfits back into their original colors and cleaned up around them.

Pidge set the dress on a chair by the table where the cake was.

"Make it Red." She said as she turned it red and left to go hide with Hunk.

Lance followed as he walked passed the dress. "Make it blue." He said as he made it blue.

He then ran to hide with his fellow fairies.

Keith from the outside ran to the door and walked in.

"Uncle Lance, Hunk, Aunt Pidge!" Keith called out as he set his stuff down.

He then looked around and saw the dress and the cake.

"Oh my-" Keith gasped.

Just then, his three guardians all popped out.

"Surprise!" They all said.

"Happy Birthday!" Hunk said.

Keith was just too happy. "Oh Thanks guys. This is all so amazing!" He said.
"Just wait till he gets here!"

Lance's face then went confused. "I'm sorry, Him?" He said.

"Keith..." Pidge said.

"You met some stranger?" Hunk asked.

Keith just kept that smile on his face. "He's not some stranger, we've met before..." He said.

"Wait you have?" Lance asked.

"Yep, once upon a dream to be exact." Keith said as he began to dance around sinigng the song then grabbing on to Pidge's hands and dance around with her.

"Yep, he's in love." Pidge said.

Hunk and Lance just looked at each other.

"Oh dear..." Hunk said.

"This is bad..." Lance said.

Keith stopped dancing and singing. "Why? After all I am 18 now." He said.

Lance scratched the back of his head. "It's not that...."

"You're already betrothed...." Hunk said.

Keith just looked at the three of them. Then just bursted out Laughing.

"Funny joke, guys, always know how to make me laugh." He laughed.

"This isn't a joke Keith." Lance said.

"You really are betrothed, to Prince Shiro." Pidge said.

Keith then laughed harder. "Wow okay this joke of yours is really good!" He laughed.

The fairies just looked at him.

Keith suddenly stopped laughing. "Why aren't you guys laughing?" He asked. "It's funny... And a joke... Right?"

The fairies couldn't even look at Keith.

"Funny? Right? Uncle Lance? Hunk? Aunt Pidge?" He was so confused.

Lance finally spoke. "It's true..." He said.

Keith couldn't believe it. "That's impossible." He said. "For me to be betrothed to a Prince, then I'd have to be-"

"A prince?" Hunk said. "You are. You are Prince Keith of The Kingdom of Arus and We have to take you to your father, the King and Your Mother, Queen Krolia Tonight." He said.

"B-But I can't, He's coming tonight and I promised him and he'll be here..." Keith said.

"I'm sorry Keith, You can never see that young man again..." Lance said.

Keith suddenly had tears running down his face.

"No... No!" He cried. "I can't believe it."

Keith then dashed to his room knowing he can never see that man again.

Keith just cried and cried...

*ouch... My heart...*
