The sharp piercing of gravels could be felt under Liliana's feet as she moved from one house to the other, hiding behind various objects as she went further into town. The cool night air blew harshly against her skin, causing her to gently run her hands along her arms, in hopes of bringing some warmth to her body.
Looking around her surroundings she tried to find somewhere in which she could rest for the night in hopes that she wouldn't be found. As she came to a standstill beside a bar she could hear the loud noise of the happy occupants inside. Lifting her head towards the night sky she stared at the beauty, wondering just how many stars gathered there watching her. They shined like little diamonds, winking at her with hidden mischief, holding what secret they knew and keeping it to themselves. Those little stars were always there, watching everything that happened, tonight they had the opportunity to spy into her life, witnessing the tragedy that almost befell her. Liliana's eyes continued watching the sky, looking at the beauty of the black and blue intertwined.
How could a world so beautiful be so cruel?. The wondering thought brought a tear to her eye.
Sighing Liliana walked into the nearby ally to see if there was something within which she could sleep. Her hands ran along the mass coved walls leading to the back of the bar, there were no lights amoung this side, only the gentle shine of the moon shone upon her face.
she continued farther, her legs feeling more and more wary the longer she remained on them, her entire body felt exhausted, like she was being hunted and chased to be sold to the highest bidder. But come to think of it, isn't it what this was?
Just as she was about to shake her head at the thought she went stumbling to the floor. Liliana closed her eyes and waited for the sudden impact but instead her knees fell against something soft.
Her fingertips ran along the soft material, coming to the realization that it was a sponge, it felt slightly damp but that wouldn't ender her from sleeping on it, it was better than sleeping on the cold hard floor. Gently laying down Liliana rested her head against the small smelly sponge, a sigh of relief escaping from her lips, her joints ached, her feet ached, her body felt like a continuous strain of events.
Liliana sleep was peaceful, more peaceful than it had been in a long long time. She was so tired that she fell into a deep sleep, she didn't hear the sound of foot steps, didn't hear the staggering, the only thing she knew was that one moment she was blisfully asleep and the next she was being grabbed by the hair.

In the wee hours of the morning sound of rats scurrying around woke Liliana out of her sleep, a small yarn escaped her mouth as she slowly opened her eyes. The cool morning air did nothing to remove the fog surrounding the street, but rather helped it. The sound of the vendors moving into the market place could be heard as Liliana came to a complete stand. Her back hurt from laying on the cold floor, dirt and grime filled her skin from the tossle she had with the smelly drunk. I'm a mess she thought.
Events from the day before ran across her mind, she wished she had the willpower to make it stop but the more she tried forgetting the more it rushed by. Tears stung her eyes, causing her pink lips to tremble, lifting up her hands she tried covering her mouth to prevent the sobs from coming out. Her previous perfectly kept nails, well as perfectly kept as a servants nails could be were cracked and chip, dirt filling every inch of nail it could. Instead of keeping the sobs at bay, it only made her cry more.
How can life be so horrible?
Dry your tears now Liliana she told herself be strong. Mrs.Rose didn't grow a weak girl.
Even as she said that, it was like the universe wanted to prove otherwise, her willpower failed her and images flashed before her eyes. It was as if she was standing in the night before, watching as she stumbled from one wall to the other until she finally came upon the bar. She watched as her past self walked before her, it was as if she Liliana was invisible.
She watched from afar as herself from the night before walked into the ally. She tried to tell her to run, tried to tell her to go the other way, but no matter how she shouted, stamped, pleaded, she watched herself walking along the wall, watched as she fell, watched as she slowly fell asleep. She knew what was coming next, knew the struggle she would be in, knew about the scratches on her skin. It was inevitable.
Liliana walked over to herself on the sponge, watching how the moon shown upon her face, stooping down she gently tried to touch her, surprisingly the hair moved between her fingers.
The sound of gravel crunching caused her to look around, a sound of shock escaping her. She watched helplessly as the drunk stumbled upon her sleeping from. A few choice words escaping his lips before his giant fingers gripped into her hair.
Liliana's past self gasp, her heart racing as she was painful removed from her sleep. He pulled her up by the hair and gripped her by the throat, a toothy grin coming upon his lips.
"Gettin a lassss witou havin to pay a centtt, me luky daeee"
The grip on her hair tightened, causing tears to come to her eyes, the hand that held her throat was removed and instead gripped tightly around her breast. The tears she was trying to hold back spilled from her eyes as he gripped harder, pleasure filling his face as he harshly massaged her breast.
She struggled and when she saw that was no use she tried to take a deep breath, using that opportunity to scream as loud as she could. But that seemed to have angered the drunk, causing him to do something she least expected.
She stood where she was, watching as slapped her across the face before pushing her to the floor. She
Liliana tried to pull her past self up, tried to move her out of the way, but nothing happened. When everything she tried failed to help, she wondered how she could move the hair but not move her away. The thing Liliana didn't understand was that she could move somethings but she could not change the past. Not yet anyways. She watched as her past self crinked her when the smelly drunk continued to speak, causing Liliana to smile, remembering how she thought his breath was horrid. His grip was harsh on her skin, his sharp fingernails biting along the soft flesh as he struggled to pull her off the floor, she tried anchoring her hands into the dirt but that did not stop him from dragging her up, she knew not where he got the strength from but as soon as she got close to him her dirty fingers shot out and scratched him across the face, causing him to let her go and stumble back.
With a growl from the drunk, her past self watched as he came at her with a knife, it's length glinting with bloody intent. He stumbled upon his feet, staggering as he got closer to her. Liliana was so proud of herself, proud of the quick thinking she had the night before as she watched as the knife was kicked out of his hands.
Not only did her past self do that but he was also kneed, not to mention the stamp he got upon his foot. As the drunk fell to the floor she was about to escape when she saw the knife few feets away. She did not waste any time but quickly got ahold of it. Turning to look behind her the sound of the drunk swearing spured her forward.
She watched her past self running towards her, gasping and holding onto the knife within her hands. Tears sliding down her cheeks, her breath coming in gasps. Liliana's heart was pounding with the events that were replaying, and although she had just experienced it the night before she wasn't prepared for it to unfold before her eyes.
She sucked in a breath as she was slammed into, bringing her back to the present.
