"xavier? are you alright, do you need anything?" the nurse asked him.
he just stared up at the ceiling, not moving, nor giving any indication of doing so.
the nurse sighed.
"hunny, youve been doing this for weeks now. what is wrong?" the nurse demanded.
he didnt move. he didnt do anything.
"well, ill leave you to it. there are no cameras, if you're worried about that. no one will see you eating." she joked, smiling slightly, and giving up when she didnt get a laugh.
she set the food down, and turned around, leaving him be.
"you shouldnt have told me i wasn't being watched." he whispered, looking down, under the blankets where he had saved up all the medicine they've given him.
he smiled slightly, looking up.
