The Wattpad Experiment

I began this account with the book 'How to: Get More Reads on Wattpad'. This pretty much cemented my identity as a how-to guide on this site, and ever since then I've received messages from new writers asking how to get more reads. My advice has always been to give books time to grow, so the fact that this book had the timescale of a month may seem a bit contradictory, but hear me out.

I want to show how hard work and applying a few tips and tricks of the trade can help you grow your account massively. So I set myself a challenge: make a completely new account, write a new book, and try and get it to 1,000 reads. All in one month. I had one rule - I wasn't allowed to interfere with its progress by using my other accounts to advertise it.

And so this is the story of how I became a Wattpad newbie all over again, trying my best to get 1,000 reads. Will I make it?

Before anyone asks - no, I will not be sharing the details of this new account with anyone. I want to see how much that account can grow on its own, and I want to keep it separate from my identity on this account.

And let's just say it's not really appropriate for all readers...
