Logging into that account the next day brought with it a huge surprise - my book was on 190 reads! Hold up. This was big news to me. This was the biggest growth my book had ever seen reads-wise, and I hadn't even done anything to bring it about. People were even beginning to add my book to their reading lists, a great way of advertising. I was low key shook.
There was something very exciting about this growth. It meant I was gaining momentum. More and more people were clicking on my book and it was now showing up in the 'New' section. People who didn't even follow me we're starting to read it, and I was getting very, very excited.
I posted another chapter, one that I was super proud of, and continued on with the rest of my day. There was something very thrilling about this moment, it marked an almost takeoff point for the book.
