The New Members

Chapter 1

A/N: I'm doing this story with my best friend The_Bat_Fam. She's Midnight and I'm Red Mistress. We don't own Young Justice or any of the characters; just Red Mistress and Midnight.

Red Mistress's P.O.V.

Okay, people, my name is Robin Grayne. Whoo! I totally feel the freaking aster radiating off you guys!! (Not.) My parents were killed when I was four by the Joker because my dad was some stupid crook who backed out on a deal with Joker. Joker in the end got thrown in prison. So when he was released, he hunted my parents down and killed them. Right before my eyes. Just what every four year old needs to see; they're parents heads being blown off. Let's just say I was permanently scarred for life.

Anyways, after that I basically lived on the streets, fighting thugs, pranking people. Yeah life was good. But it wasn't until I was five and met Jason Todd that life became great.

We were the greatest friends. We told each other about everything; our previous lives, our dead parents, and other stuff. We made a pretty good team. We fought thugs together, and, well, we just enjoyed each other's company. He was six and so he was like the older brother I never had.

When I turned six, stuff happened, (I honestly don't remember what the freak happened), and I ended up leaving Jason and was adopted by Oliver and Dinah Queen whom had a ten year old adopted son named Roy Harper. Roy instantly took a dislike to me, but, you know, we eventually got along and once we did, we played wrestle and pranked Oliver.

I grew older and eventually found out the reason Oliver and Dinah went out so much; They were freaking super heroes! Dinah was Black Canary and Oliver was Green Arrow! Roy even became Speedy, Green Arrow's sidekick!!! So of course I grew jealous and wanted to be a hero too so they agreed to train me and I became Sonic Finch, Black Canary's sidekick. Boy I hated that name, but hey, at least I was a hero.

One day I was on a mission in Star City and met Midnight, a.k.a. Alex Steel, who is my best friend, with her sister Artemis when they came to see Oliver and me, his new protégé since Roy went solo.

So, blah, blah, blah, we hit it off, we became BFF's, BOOM! End of discussion.

When I was eleven and Midnight was ten, I began to attend Gotham Junior High cause I got a scholarship. Midnight already went there so at least I had one friend there. And possibly two.

On my first day I met someone I knew and loved; Jason. It felt good to see him again. He told me he was adopted by Bruce Wayne and what had happened since we last saw each other. I told him about myself then we kinda went back to our school work. We spent a lot of time together after that, and eventually told each other we were Robin and Sonic Finch. We kept each other's secrets and, well, once again life was great.

Then the unthinkable happened. He was killed by Joker. Batman gave me the news,(BTW, Batman is Bruce Wayne). I cried for days. I wouldn't leave my room at home. No matter what my adoptive parents, Roy and Alex said to me, I wouldn't leave. I felt something for Jason, that I didn't know how to describe, and, well, his death tore me apart.

It's been five years and, well, here I am now. Red Mistress. I saw some criminal dude on TV named Red Hood so I decided to be called Red Mistress. I guess I never really described myself before so I'll do it now. I have long dark hair with a gray streak and brown eyes. I'm nothing special. I just threaten to kill people and rip their arms off a lot. So I don't get a lot of boys chasing me. Which in my opinion is good. The only boy that gets, or got, me is, or was, Jason.

My Red Mistress costume is (copied from Red Hood) made up of black knee-high buckle boots with small heels; a black shirt with a red ensignia on it; a brown shorts with a black belt; a red mask; a black leather jacket; fingerless gloves, and gun and gadget holisters strapped to my thighs. I just have gadgets and guns as weapons and my fists and my awesome acrobatics. I also own a motorcycle so I have a red helmet.

Well I've introduced myself, so now it's Midnight's turn. Plus we're going to join the Young Justice League. We are meeting the team members tomorrow so I gotta get some sleep. Eh, Midnight will explain it all to you.
