Chapter 17

Red Mistress's P.O.V.

I watched as Alex zetaed away.

"AHH!" I smashed my hand in the wall, creating a dent the size of a lunch box.

I just had to push her to her litmits. Figures; I was born with my fathers arrogance and anger issues.

I walked to the zetabeams, ignoring the blood creeping down my hand.

"Red Mistress B13."

I landed on a huge pile of rubble.

I stopped as I saw Batman push his way out from a slab of building. He ran around looking under the rubble

"Jason." he called. "Jason!" He stopped as he bent down and picked up something. Jason's mask.

And that's when I heard it. The laughter.

I jumped out of my hiding spot and smashed Joker in the face.

"I HATE YOU!" I screamed and I beat his face with my fists. "EVERYTIME HE GOES NEAR YOU YOU END UP KILLING HIM! WHEN HE WAS 13! WHEN HE WAS 18! IM SICK OF YOU TAKING AWAY ONE OF THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD I LOVE AND CARE ABOUT! AND THATS HIM! AND YOU WILL PAY!" I screeched pounded his chest and kicking him.

"Jason..." I sobbed. "JASON!!!" I looked up at the heavens and broke down, falling to my knees.

Batman walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder before taking away a laughing Joker.

"JASON!" I screamed.

I bowed my head.

Suddenly I heard someone behind me.

I whirled around.

"Slade. Gorilla Grodd. How nice of you to drop by." Silently I thanked the gods that I was wearing my unifrom.

"Oh it's not a coincidence." Slade smiled evily as gorilla hench men came out of nowhere and grabbed me. I struggled to get out of their grasp to no avail.

"What do you want Slade?"

"Oh its not a question of what I want, the question is, what do you want."

"Enough games Slade! What do you need from me." The gorilla henchmen forced me to kneel on front of Slade.

"Everything. Your best friend has deserted you, your boyfriend is dead."

"How do you know about that!" I snapped.

"Oh isn"t it obvious. I did that."

"What?!"

"It was quiet easy for Grodd to bend your minds to argue with each other. Even more easy to tell that insolent boy to place the bomb." Slade chuckled.

"It was you?! You did this! You had to take everything from me! Isn't it enough my parents are gone!? Obviously not bacause you had to take my best friend and boy friend from me too! What more could you possibly take from me." I stood up as best I could and spat in Slade's face.

He slapped me and I gasped as I forced myself to look back up at him.

"Everything." Slade cackled and I felt something heavy collide with me head.

I groaned as pain washed over me.

I opened my eyes and came face ro face with Slade. I jumped in surprise causing him to cackle.

"Oh good. Your awake. Now I can complete my plan."

"What is your plan?"

"Only to turn you into my new evil accomplice!"

He pulled a switch and my eyes widened as pain erupted through my body.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
