Chapter 11

Red Mistress's P.O.V.

I watched as Alex left the room with Robin before turning to Jason who was clutching his nose.

"WHAT THE FREAK WAS THAT?!" I screamed. "FIRST YOU YELL AT JAIME, AND THEN YOU BEAT UP MY BEST FRIEND!"

Jason looked guiltily at me. "Look I'm sorry, it's just-"

"No. Dont tell me 'It's just' because I know just what it is; You want me all to yourself and you'll do anything, even beat-up and threaten my friends, just in order to get what you want!" I got up in his face. "Did you ever think about what I want?!" I whispered, tears streaming down my face.

I sat down and shoved a Chicken Wizzie in my mouth before gulping down my soda and standing up and facing Jason again.

"Because it sure doesn't seem like it. Excuse me." I said to Jaime and the others before dumping my plate in the sink and walking to the Medical Bay.

"Robin. Robin!" Jason called. He tried to follow me but I heard Lagoon Boy get up and say, "Let her go."

I stormed into the infirmary.

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why did you attack him!"

"Isn't it obvious?! I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate him! And he's just returning my feelings."

"But you're just like him. You guys only care about what you want and how you feel, but you guys dont think about what I want and how I feel!" I turned towards the wall as my eyes began to water.

"Well what do you want?!" Alex spat.

"For both my best friends to get along!" I looked at her as tears glistened down my cheeks. "But I guess thats too much to ask."

I nodded to Robin before I opened the door and ran to my room.

I slammed my door shut before grabbing my bag. I ran to my closet and stuffed all my clothes into it.

"Where are you going?"

I saw Jaime, Jason and Alex standing in my doorway.

I looked at Jaime. "I'm leaving."

"What?!" he asked.

"Why?!" Alex demanded.

"I'm leaving because I can't stand to be in a place with my two best friends in the entire world where they just fight with each other. So I'm going someplace without my best friends. Unless they agree to get along, I'm not staying here another minute!"

I looked at the picture of me and Jason before looking him in the eye and throwing it across the room where it hit the wall and shattered.

I pushed past Alex then stopped. "Goodbye, Jaime."

I walked to the kitchen and said goodbye to everyone. They all looked shocked as I walked to the zetatubes.

"Wait Robin! Please wait!" Jason called, sprinting into the room.

"We'll try to get along!" Alex cried following Jason.

"Please don't go." Jaime pleaded following Alex. He raced over to me and grabbed my arms

"Don't you see? I must." I looked at the zetabeams.

Jaime cupped my face in his hands. He pressed forehead to mine and kissed me as hard as he could.

"Goodbye." I whispered and pulled away.

"Red Mistress B13." the computor said, announcing my departure.
