Chapter three

Soda jumped into the lake and I knew I I was dead. I was released from sodas arms and I tried my hardest trying to get up but was failing. The more I dried to swim the more I sank. I was drowning and started coughing then I passed out. Next thing I know I'm in the grass coughing up water and seaweed? Sodaa I gassed? Yes? He asked all innocent. Why did you do that I can't swim?!?! I'm sorry he said and looked down. I sighed and looked up. The sun was starting to come up. Can we go home now I asked soda. Yeah he replied and we started walking home. I was shivering like it was snowing but it was early summer. Soda went in the house and I stayed outside scared of Darry's reaction. Soda came out and dragged me in. Where the hell have you been Darry screamed. Out. I sassed making him angrier. Where we're you. At a place. What place. Somewhere. Where the hell did you go?! Narnia? Candy! You tell me where the hell you been right now! He screamed glaring at me. Out and about I retorted. I didn't realize the whole gang was here laughing their buts off. Me and Darry argued a while from where I was to everything in the past. Oh my gosh leave me alone for once Darry god, I said running upstairs. He followed but I slammed the door in his face and locked it. There was a knock on the door. Go away Darry I screamed. It's soda. I unlocked the door and soda stepped in. He hates me soda I said looking down. No he doesn't that's not true. Soda gave me an hour speech about how Darry just cares and wants what's best for me. Now go take a shower your soaking wet, soda said in a bossy tone. Yes mam I said getting up and opening the door and there was the whicked witch of the east I mean Darry. I rolled my eyes and pushed past him. Cand- I put my hand up and walked into the bathroom. I took a shower and got out walking into my room and put on a strapless floral crop top a white skirt with a bow on it floral sneaker wedges to match the shirt. I tried to comb my hair out and the Combe broke in half. I brushed my hair out and recurled it. Grabbing my sunglasses I wnr down stairs and plopped next to Johnny. Hey johnnycake I said. Hey candy. Omg! I dashed upstairs and grabbed my little fuzzy white backpack and reaches for a candy bar when caramel jumped out. I put caramel in the same outfit I was wearing I made it the night befor I thought it was cute. I carried my bag and caramel downstairs. Omg their matching two bit said rolling his eyes. Haha your just mad your not cute two-bit I glared. Ex squeeze me I'm beautiful two-bit said acting like a girl putting a hand on his hip. What everrrrrr I rolled my eyes. I sat next to Johnny again eating some candy when he took a Johnny rancher and popped it in his mouth. Johnny!! I screeched as I tackled him. Give it back I glared. He swallowed it to be smart. Oh now your getting it Cade. I had him in a head lock. Say uncle!! Never. Say uncle!! I had him pinned. Uncle uncle he screamed. What I thought I said getting up. Soda came in declaring he had news. We'll spit it out I glared. Where going to the carnival!! Soda said. Oh my god oh my god oh my god! I bounced around the room I love the carnival. Well what are we waiting for I asked? Darry, he's still getting ready. I grabbed caramel and skipped outside. Ten minutes later everyone came out. I got into two-bits car with Johnny soda dally and soda. Darry pony and Steve where in Darry's truck. I thought since I didn't go with Darry the ride would be peaceful but no soda and two-but we're singing like dieing cats and two-bit I don't know how he got his freaking license we almost crashed a thousand times. Finally arriving I jumped out the car befor it two-bit parked caramel following. After we finally got tickets I ran in. I was walking towards the swings until dally suggested we get on a roller coaster. Uh...was all I could say. Don't tell me your scared dally smirked. Of course not I replied. Ok then we don't have a problem dally said dragging me onto the biggest roller coaster in the carnival. Only two people could go on one cart so I got on with Johnny. I put caramel in my back pack. The roller coaster zoomed down the tracks and started to go up getting closer to the drop. I was really freaking out and Johnny was just looking at me. Then when the roller coaster dropped I held onto Johnny like my life depended on it screaming my head off. By the time the ride was over I didn't want to get on anything else. Johnny literally had to carry me out. Dally was laughing his but off and I smacked him in the back on his head. Why would you do that?!? That was like suicide!! He just laughed in my face. I took caramel out my back pack and set her on Johnny's head. Walking to the swings where I originally wanted to go I seen the two people who make my blood boil. Cherry and Marcia. I took caramel off Johnny's head and holded her to keep her from biting them. Hey Ponyboy cherry said flipping her hair. Hey Johnny Marcia said batting her eyes. You Marcia said glaring at me. I walked up next to sodapop to keep myself from punching Marcia. I glanced out the corner of my eye to see Marcia arms around Johnny's waist and cherry on ponyboys back. I was really getting jealous I wanted to bash Marcia's head in. Marcia and Johnny were now by my side, just great. Aww look at the puppy Marcia squealed petting caramel. I glared at her. You want some candy puppy,huh. Marcia was about to feed my dog chocolate, chocolate can kill them. What the hell!!!!! I screamed smacking the chocolate to the ground. You trying to kill he I kept screaming. Oh I forgot chocolate kills dogs she said all innocent. No you didn't you liar don't touch my dog again. I'm sorry she whispered making a fake tear fall. Come on why did you do that candy she didn't mean it Johnny yelled. Yeah she didn't mean to cherry screeched. I turned around on my heel to face cherry. Shut up I didn't ask up you if she didn't mean it now did I? Hey don't talk to her like that pony said. Shut up pony I glared. Who are you to talk to him like that cherry said pushing me. That's when All he'll broke loose. I pushed her down to ground she got up and slapped me. I punched her in the face and tackled her. I was on top of her punching her non stop until soda had to peel me off of her. Cherry was bawling her eyes out while I just glared. Soda had his arm around my stomach so I wouldn't jump on her again. Soda you can let me go now I said through gritted teeth. He let me go and I turned around to be slapped by Marcia. That was a mistake. Because I just went all a wall on her punching and kicking her I was on a rampage. Soda couldn't pull me off so Darry threw me over his shoulder. When Johnny and pony left with those two no good socs Darry put me down and I took off running with caramel following.  I got on the Ferris wheel even though I hated it. It was along ride and gave me time to think about what just happened. I called my best friend Kate I asked her to come to the carnival with me and she said she be on her way. When the ride ended Kate was at the entrance where I was meeting her. Kate!! I ran up to her and she ran up to me and we ended up crashing heads. Ow! I thought you were gonna stop! We said at the same time. I told her about what happened with me and those socs. Well good for you they deserved it always getting what they want lieing and playing innocent! Kaye screeched. I know right! We were walking to the candy stand when I realized I didn't have caramel. Omg Kate I can't find caramel. What?! She screamed. We ran all over until I seen Marcia holding caramel at the candy stand. Me and Kate ran over. Caramel I screamed snatching her from that gorilla looking sic Marcia. Hey don't snatch her we found her wandering around! Cherry screamed. Sure  you did I spat I turned to see Kate besting the living day lights out of Marcia. Cheery slapped me again and I was right back on top of her punching her non stop I banged her head on the ground and caramel stood there barking jumping on cherrys legs. I was still punching cherry until pony pulled me off and I kicked and kicked her and she layed their y crying. What the hell candy leave her a lone god dammit she did nothing to you! pony screeched? What!? She just out of no where slapped me and don't act like you didn't see it and I don't care what the hell you say cause she deserved it and if she didn't want a royal freaking beat down she wouldn't of put her creepy crawling witch freaking black and yellow tree branch nails on me!! What ever candy your always lieing like right now cherry did nothing to you and you just beat her up some person you are god sometimes I wish you weren't my sister! Pony yelled. Ok fine don't ever talk to me again and act like I'm not your sister then I said pushing past cherry bumping her shoulder knocking her over. I snatched caramel from off the ground and was walking out the carnival with Kate running to catch up with me. Hey hey candy calm down Kate said. I can't believe he said that Kate I said now crying. Candy, he was just mad you beat his girlfriend down to a pulp she said I a mean voice cause I know she likes Ponyboy. What ever can I sleep at your house Kate I asked chocking on tears. Of course she replied. Sleep over she yelled. We got in her car I strapped caramel in the back and called soda. Hello said asked. Soda I'm staying over at Kate's. Ok what wrong candy? Nothing I lied to him. Ok see ya candy love you. See ya love you to Pepsi-cola I said and hung up. Getti in the car we were zipping down the streets of Tulsa to Kate's house
