I walked in the house and prepared myself to tell the gang. "I have something to tell y'all, it's about Candy." Getting their attention they were all waiting for me to continue but the words wouldn't come out. "Soda what happened to Candy?!" Darry snapped. I gulped. "Bob rapped Candy." My eyes started to water. Everyone looked shocked and sad, Pony even started crying. "Where is she now soda?" "She didn't want me to tell y'all and she ran when I was a block away but I'm pretty much positive she's at the train tracks.
"Ok Soda, Pony lets go, we gotta get Candy. We walked to the abandoned train tracks and seen our baby sister asleep on the tracks. I picked her up and she started having a panic attack. "Candy it's just me, Soda." "Soda?, you told them didn't you?" "Yes baby I did please don't hate me. My baby sister just sobbed hugging me tightly as I carried her, my heart shattered. Bob broke my baby sister, took her innocence, he's going to pay. When we got home I put Candy in her room and went back down stairs to a sad looking gang. I sat on the couch, no one would speak just exchanged sad looks. Finally, Darry spoke up. "There's definitely going to be a rumble so spread the word the socs are going to pay.
Dal's Pov
While the gang discussed the rumble I went upstairs to see Candy. Even though we don't have the same mother, she's still family I consider her blood. I walked into her room and seen a completely different candy. My caring, happy, ray of sunshine little sister now looks lost and broken. I sat next to her shaking body. This was such a sad sight, a tear slipped from eye and I quickly wiped it away, for Candy's sake I need to be strong. I put my arm around her shoulder hesitantly, she just looks so broken and fragile. She slowly wrapped her arms around me hugging me like I was going somewhere and never returning.
"Dal?" Her voice was barely there so it came out more as a whisper. "Yes?" "Dal, I-I-I don't think I'll ever be the same." She whispered burying her face in my chest. That sentence made my heart brake, and more tears fell from my eyes, Candy was one of the few things I care about and now she'll never be the same.
