'I, Thomas William Hiddleston, take you, {y/n} {y/m/n} {y/l/n}, for my lawful wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part.'
The words are rolling over his tongue with the most determination you've ever witnessed in your life. He slides the ring down your finger, holding back his urge to just kiss you already.
The officiant smiles at you both before asking you to repeat what he says. 'I, {y/n} {y/m/n} {y/l/n}, take you, Thomas William Hiddleston, for my lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part.' It feels good to have now first used the word "husband." Can you believe it? You're a few seconds away to be officially married. Well, you are already married at city hall but you only see it official when the officiant will speak out the next words.
'I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.' Tom wastes no time in grabbing you by your waist and pulling you in to then kiss you tenderly on your lips. The guests are clapping and you can't help but chuckle against his lips.
You both pull away and gaze out over the guests with wide smiles. You immediately catch a clapping Oliver who is obviously only trying to do what the other people are doing and it makes you a proud mom. You feel how Tom takes your hand and you follow him through the aisle to be the first one to get to the reception venue. You take Oliver from your sibling and get to the car.
'It's so surreal to me. We have been planning for a good two years, and now look at us! We survived years of stress, media, anxiety and parenting.' And with parenting, you mean the bad times.
~
The venue is beautiful. It's just outside the forest you got married in, although still a short car drive away, and the staff is there to greet you and congratulate you. You smile while walking inside with Oliver's hand clutched in one hand and Tom's in the other.
The guests are all dripping in and within moments, the room is packed. Fortunately, the venue you picked is large and has enough space for everyone. The weather is lovely too so some are even outside chatting.
The day and evening is packed with speeches, music, dancing, some games that yours and his parents came up with and a lot of adorable interruptions from Oliver. Of course in the afternoon, your wedding photographs were taken.
Cutting the cake is one of the moments you most adored at the party. Cutting it properly but then in a few swift moves, you grabbed a handful and smeared it across his lips and cheeks. Some of it got into his mouth thankfully. You laugh and kiss the cake of his face, only to get a handful in your face as well afterwards. 'Payback is a bitch.' You mumble as you kiss him again.
After that, the first dance happens. You asked Tom to teach you the dance he did in Crimson Peak because it looked so beautiful and fluent in the movie.
'With the candle and all?' He asks. 'Not necessarily although it would look nice, don't you think?' He laughs. 'It's always different on screen then off screen. You do know that?' Of course you know but still. 'But the dance is so nice.' He chuckles, gently grabbing your hand. 'It's called the Waltz and I still know a few things but we need to get the dance instructor that taught me and Mia because I don't remember everything.' Fair enough.
You take his hand and place the other on his shoulder while he wraps his around your waist. You smile at him as the music starts playing, letting him lead you on the floor. Thanks to the many, many lessons you had, the dance is fluent and you love the flying feeling you get. You even forget the people around you. They only come back to you when you stop dancing and hear the sound of clapping.
As you let go, Tom kisses you again before you tug him with you towards the bar to get a drink. 'Today is absolutely perfect and tomorrow is the beginning of our honeymoon! Two weeks of sun, beach, luxury and no obligations. I'm really glad Oliver will be at my parents for the time being. It's just us.' You smile and take the glass wine from the bartender.
'He's going to see my home town for the very first time. Not only my town, but my country. He's going to be so confused when my parents are going to talk in their own language.' You add while giggling.
'He'll get used to it. I would like to talk some more about the sun and the beach.' He says, taking his drink as well.
Ah, yes. Madagascar. What could possibly go wrong?
{A/N} Have you heard the news about Stan Lee? It's sad but 95 is quite an age. I hope he rests in peace. I will surely miss his cameo's in the movies! And just everything he did, with the actors, the comics and public appearances. RIP.
