"Dixon. Dixon. Kelsey-?"
I was just about to fall asleep too!
"I'm sleepy," I yawned.
"Me too," he replied.
"Well then don't ever wake me up like that again."
I rolled over and fell asleep.
"Hey, um I meant to ask you, there's this charity hockey game next weekend-." I already knew what he was going to say. "I'm not so sure, Sid." "C'mon! It'll be fun."
It looks like fun, it will be fun, but you won't have any of the fun.
I smacked my forehead. "I-I just remembered that I-I have to be in San Diego next weekend for some coverage of Chargers action. I'm sorry Sidney." He looked at me with a confused look on his face.
"You? Covering the San Diego Chargers? That doesn't seem right. Especially for you." I looked away.
"Well I have to...for Scott. Plus, I just might get promoted if this goes well." He got up.
"Whatever you say, Mackie."
He-I-what the fuck?!
"SIDNEY PATRICK CROSBY! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!" He turned around, laughing.
"I just called you Mackie. Why? Does that bother you?" I was furious.
"Yes it bothers me. Don't you realize what you've done to me already? I wanted to esacpe high school without anyone asking me about how hockey was, or what Mackie hitting me and slamming me into the boards felt like. But now I can't. Thanks to you and all of your idiot teammates. I knew I should've dated a Flyer," I muttered under my breath.
"Whoa. Hold on just a minute. First of all, you need to calm down. Second, my teammates are not idiots. Well okay, maybe Sutter, but forget about him. Listen to me. I love you. More than you think, and I called you Mackie to remind you of why you're really scared of not wanting to play next weekend." I curled up into a ball on the couch.
"Yeah you're right. I am scared. But what if I do get hit again? I don't want to play and get hit." He put his arm around me.
"You're fine. So what? You in or you out? And I promise you, if you get hurt, I will be right there next to you." I sighed.
"But that's what I'm afraid of. Getting hurt." I rested my head onto his shoulder. "I'm sorry Sidney but I just can't. I just can't risk losing you." I got off the couch and went into the kitchen.

I guess I never thought that starting over with Sidney meant playing hockey with him, yet again.
The first time I played with him I hit my head really hard. I'm not doing that again.

I walked into work with a bunch of reports to fill out and a note from the coach of the penguins. Why was he sending me a note to my New York office?
Hi Kelsey.
Please keep Sidney home for a few days as the flu is going around.
Thanks
-Coach
Weird.
"Hello? Oh hey Kelsey. What's up?"
"Um I just recieved an email from the coach saying that he wants me to keep you home due to the flu going around?"
"Um...well I mean I knew it was going around, but I'm supposed to stay home?"
"Yeah...you are," I sighed.
"You alright?"
"Yeah. This was kinda a last minute thing from coach today...please stay home unitl I get back on Sunday." He sighed.
"Alright...you promise I won't get the flu?" Was he joking?!
"Of course not honey. Listen, I will talk to your coach and see what the deal is, okay?" I started to sound like his mom.
"Okay Mom. I love you."
"I love ya too, Sidney."

Sorry the first chapter was short, but it's a FILLER!!! There's gonna only be 20-25 (most likely 25) chapters; but I won't be updating every day!! I'll make a YouTube video to explain everything!!
