I was in tears.
"Y-yes!" He and I both knew I was gonna marry him sooner or later.
"Ready to start over?" He asked slipping the ring on my finger.
"Yes. I'm ready this time." I took a deep breath and looked at the beautiful ring on my finger.
I took a picture of the ring and posted it to Facebook.
"It looks good on you," he commented going to the fridge.
"Halt. We've yet to go out once as you know, just us," I said closing the fridge door.
"Yeah. We do. Haha that's kind of funny that you mention that because the guys were asking about you today." They would never. I really don't go to his practices anymore.
"Oh," I said letting my eyes fall onto my ring.
"Please don't make me have to propose to you again." He came over to me and started rubbing my back.
"No...it's not that...." I looked out of the window to see two birds playing happily together on a branch.
If only me and Sidney were like that...
"Then what is it?" He asked.
"It's nothing. I'm fine. See?" I turned around and gave him a fake smile before walking into my bedroom.
"Something is bothering you and I'm not leaving until you tell me." He sat next to me at the end of my bed.
"You're right. Something is bothering me. And I've been meaning to get it off my chest, but I just can't." I laid back and rested my hands on my stomach.
"Was it something I said before?" He joined me and held my hands.
"No. Do you remember when I called Brandon Sutter a pervert?" My eyes looked into his.
God, he has dreamy eyes. I can't wait to marry him so I can see them all the time!
"Yes why?" He sounded alert again.
"Did he ask you if I thought he was still a pervert?"
I only asked that because I still think he is although thinking about what he said and did now makes me realize he isn't and I overreacted.
"No. He would never, honey. He really likes you." My eyes went wide like a kid at a candy store.
"A-as a friend right?" I'm concerned. Very concerned.
"Yes as a friend. He knows we're gonna get married. I invited him to the wedding if you don't mind." I liked that idea.
"I don't care. Invite the whole team if you really want to. I know my family will not be attending." I turned over and looked at the clock.
"They have to." He got off of the bed to face me.
"No the hell they don't. My mom's gonna be all like 'awe you two will be so cute' and take a bazillion pictures, my dad's gonna sit there and probably read a newspaper on his phone or something, and then there's Brandon who will have to bring his girlfriend who's jealous that I'm marrying you. So no. No Dixon family members will be in attendance thank you very much."
"Kelsey...don't you want your mom or dad to walk you down the isle? Don't you want them to share in your moment with you? I mean my mom is walking me down the isle and I know Taylor's gonna wanna walk with my dad only 'cause he's not letting her walk with anyone else."
"That's great for you," I said closing my eyes.
"Alright now...you just sit tight...I'll figure this whole wedding thing out."
"I'm not helping you at the moment. I'm going to bed since I'm tired."
"Okay." He kissed the top of my head and left the room.
SIDNEY'S POV
Why do weddings have to be so stressful? I mean it's not like the president is coming. So I decided to call my mom on help.
"Hello?"
"Hi Sidney!"
"Hey mom. Listen, I need your help."
"I already know. Your fiancee posted a picture to Facebook. What's up honey? Oh and how's your back?"
"Better. She doesn't want any of her family to be there." I sat on the couch turning on the tv.
"Oh honey...I'm sorry. Maybe you should talk to her." Really mom?
"I already did before I called you."
"Maybe you should have her talk to her parents."
"You mean her divorced parents? Good one mom." This was not going to be easy.
"On another note, Taylor misses you." I smiled.
"Tell her I miss her too. When can you guys visit?"
"Same question goes for you. When can you guys visit?" I'm not so sure Kelsey wants to meet my parents and Taylor just yet.
"Um...you might count Kelsey out. She's been kinda wonky lately over the whole divorce thing."
"I understand. Do you want to talk to Taylor?" Mom....
"What kind of a question is that?! Where is she?" A few minutes later and I was talking to my little sister.
"Hi Sidney!'
"Hi Taylor. I miss you."
"I miss you more! When are you getting married?"
"I don't know yet."
"Oh." I could hear her face fall through the phone. "You're coming to grandmas', right?"
"For what?" Why would I go over to grandma Crosby's house?
"Her and gramps' 50th?" Ohhh that!
"Yeah! I wouldn't miss it for the world! Unless I had a hockye game."
"Sindey," she warned.
"Alright, alright. I'll be there. How's senior year?"
"Alright, I guess...." Probably something to do with hockey.
"Hockey?"
"No...our exams are coming up in a few weeks and mom says if I don't pass the final exam before Christmas, I'm being forced to quit the hockey team."
"That sucks. Mom shouldn't do that to you."
"Well she is...I've gotta go study. Bye." I hung up thinking about the wedding.
Everything will be perfect...I hope.
A/N
So if you gus didn't know already, Sidney has an 18-year old sister who is a senior in high school (Highly assuming she is unless she's in college...) and she does play hockey. Multiple websites say that she plays hockey. So for those of you who write Crosby fanfiction, HE HAS A REAL SISTER! Don't believe me? Look it up, you non-believers!! Anyways, I'm really bad about updating since my last week of band was last week (if you guys read Don't you forget about me than you'll know how bad I've been.) BUT...I'll get better. I rpomise now that I have a real life, I'll get better at updating on Wattpad.
