I enter into my car ready to head home. I was practically so exhausted. I do the job of the Secretary and that of the PA so it was fucking exhausting.

At least Calvin was no longer as harsh as he used to be, all thanks to Ava. That woman is blessed to be able to deal with Calvin of all men. As for me, men are difficult to please and I didn't have the strength to stress myself looking for a guy or trying to please one.

I see the way  Ember drool over Colton, but seriously there is really nothing there to drool about. He's hot I know but....

But....

But....

Urghhh... No reason.

Uhhmmm, Cherry why are you not attracted to him like others, you sure you not gay??

Oh no no I'm definitely not gay. He's hot and all but... But... Really there are really no buts. He's really handsome... Joke apart.

I enter into my apartment and slump on the couch throwing off my shoes and groaning. I was really tired and didn't have the strength to cook. My phone rings in my bag, I reach for my bag and check the caller id, an unknown number.

I roll my eyes and the pick the call waiting for the caller to speak first.

"Hello" I hear a masculine voice call through the phone. That voice was familiar but I couldn't place it.

"Hey" I answer back, trying to place the voice.

" Cherry, it's Colton" I roll my eyes, I knew I heard that voice before.

"Okay"

"How was your day Sweetie?" He asks.

I furrow my eyebrows together before answering. " Was hectic but okay, how did you get my number anyway?"

"Uhmmm, I have my ways" he chuckled over the phone sending a smile over my face.

"I was just wondering maybe if you could hang out with me for some time?" He asks, uncertainty clear in his voice.

My lips breaks into a smile I was holding. " Wait, are you asking me on a date?"

"Over the phone?" I completed.

"Uhmm I'm so sorry, im not used to this. I'm sorry."

There was a second of silence

"So what's it gonna be?" His voice broke the silence, so soft.

"Uhmmm, sure. Why not?" I said shrugging.

"How about tomorrow night?"

"Of course, tomorrow night is okay" I said.

"Okay see you then. I will come pick you up by eight... Goodnight sweetheart"

"Goodnight" i say, dropping the phone.

And I didn't see that coming....

Ava practically squealed over the video call when I told her her best friend asked me out on a date. And she promised to be here to pick out a dress for me.

And that promise was kept coz she is here and she has practically turned my wardrobe upside down trying to look for the 'perfect dress'. I roll my eyes. I just sit on the bed waiting for her to come up with a dress, she has practically brought up more than seven dresses and when I put it on, it's either it's not good on me or its not the perfect dress for a date with ' COLTON ADAMS'.
