After successfully escaping the Underworld, Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, is determined to start anew. To elude Hades, the King of the Dead, she transforms her appearance and adopts the name Jade Collins, hoping to distance herself from her past.
However, fate intervenes when she meets Nicholas Barnes, a gentleman haunted by the departure of his fiancée. Unbeknownst to Jade, Nicholas is Hades in mortal form, searching for the goddess he once ruled.
As their lives intertwine, both are blissfully unaware of each other's true identities. Drawn to one another, they fall deeply in love, each believing they have found solace from their previous lives.
