"Nandini.."he whispered as his hand reached out for her on the other end of the couch...

...only to find it empty beneath his fingers.

His eyes snapped open as soon as he realised he was lying alone on the couch..

"Nandini.."

Manik whispered as he sat up straight.

He looked around but she wasn't anywhere to be seen.

He knew last night wasn't an imagination.

His indecent condition was a solid proof of that.

He was fully naked and was only draped in a white sheet that he arranged from the laundary room of his office in order to cover himself and her naked state..

..and of course his back hurts too as it's all swelled up courtsey of Nandini Murthy's nail marks across his entire back..

..not to forget his entire front is covered with several red marks too...

..making him smile for a second..

..as he remembered how he and Nandini suited each other like perfect piece of puzzle.

So these points were clear indication that last night was for real..

..that he and Nandini actually crossed all the boundaries and lines of sanity , sensibility and decency last night.

But then where is she now.

Why isn't she here..

..with him..

..where she truly belong.

And the very next moment the most terrible and worst scenarios begin to flood his mind.

Did she finally realised what she was actually getting herself into..

..did she chose to forget about last night by tagging it a big mistake..

..did she realised that how bad he was for her.

Did she walk away from him..

..did she left him.

"Oh god..No.."

He instantly got up while the sheet fell off his body and gathered near his feet..leaving him totally naked..

..but he simply didn't care at the moment.

He looked around frantically looking for his phone..

..only to find it on his table...

..over a piece of paper that had something written on it.

Covering the distance in few strides Manik pick the note and begin to read it..

..and instantly all his fear were dissolved while a wide grin broke on his face as he read the note that was written by Nandini.

**Good morning Manik..Sir..

Before you begin to panic and send Rescue and Search to look out for me..I am informing you beforehand only that I am going back home.

We have a loads to discuss and talk about before we take any step further..

..as you have a loads of explaination to give.

And trust me..

..I have enough time in my hand and patience so you won't have any excuse for not giving me the answers that I need.

So don't worry about me running away..

Manik smiled as he folded the note neatly and once again kept it under his cell phone under the table and whispered

"Whatever you say..Mam.."

He turned around and found his clothes neatly folded and kept on the top of the side table. Donning them on he prevented from giving anyone a severe heart attack had they seen him in this condition.

As it is Manik knew that even after having "his Monstrous Reputation" how the female mind works..and to what levels their thought process run when it comes to their boss- Mr.Manik Malhotra—the Forbidden Fruit.

But of course still they fantasies and imagine stuff in their mind..that unfortunately Manik had no control over.

On top of that Nandini's involvement with him..

..though he doesn't really care about anyone else..

..but he knew Nandini does..

..and so does her family.

Nandini's words flashed in front of his eyes that literally chocked him for a second.

"We have a loads to discuss and talk about before we take any step further..

Is he actually ready to let her in..

Can he trust her enough to stay back if he let her totally in..

Manik closed his eyes and whispered "Nandini.."

..and almost instantly he got one simple word that was the answers of all the above questions..

Picking his cell phone up he called someone..

..and when the call was answered..

..Manik simply ordered with a smile etched face.

"Aryaman..drop all the surveillance around Nandini and her home..and take a day off..both you and your team.."

"..however..just keep me posted about Harshad..but except for that today you have no other work here.."

Like always he ended the call without waiting for Aryaman to reply..

..not before saying something that made both Manik and Aryaman smile on opposite side of the call.

"..and yes from now on..your duties related to Nandini is over..because from now on..any matter related to Miss.Nandini Murthy would be directly taken care by me.."

"..and me only.."
