"..where were you Nandini.."Abhimanyu complained. "..you missed all the fun last night.."

Nandini bit down her lower lip in order to stop the smile that was threatening to break on her face as she remembered her "last night".

Trying to keep a poker face she replied "..I know yaar..even I wish I could be there..but it had been a while that I spent anytime with Chacha-Chachi...that's why I couldn't say no to them.."

"..but what did you do exactly.."though Mukti asked casually but it was enough to turn Nandini's face red in mortification as the images of exactly what she was doing "last night" flashed right in front of her eyes.

"..oh nothing much.."

"..I just ended up making unbridled love with Manik Malhotra-who showed me heaven twice last night-as we both got drowned in the ocean of pool of ecstasy and passion..

..by the way..it's the same Manik Malhotra..who happened to be your boss..and mine as well.."

These words were dying to come out of her mouth..

..but of course it didn't as Nandini replied in an equal casual tone. "..oh nothing much.."

"..just the usual family thing..hanging out with them..and talking about stuff that's going on my life..then we played games like Uno and Monopoly for a while before we dug into delicious food made by Chachi..and then continued to talk before we all fell asleep.."Nandini was surprised herself as she spoke the words so casually and genuinely that even for she herself believe that all this actually happened for real.

"..Aww..that sounds so cute.."Mukti pulled Nandini's cheek "..Nandini please next time..try to include me and Abhimanyu in these family gatherings as well..god..we miss our family so much.."

"Sure thing.."Nandini smiled as she was genuinely relieved that her planned work so effortlessly.

In the morning when she reached home Shanno didn't ask her any question rather she like always welcomed Nandini warmly back into her home.

She made awesome breakfast for Nandini but never asked anything related to what she was doing "last night" with her "supposed gathering at Mukti's place.."

The only question that she asked Nandini was that whether she was happy or not.

When Nandini replied in positive Shanno's face begin to glow in happiness as well..to see her daughter happy.

Nandini knew that she was lying to Shanno..but she also knew that at the moment that was the only right thing to do.

Nandini was absolutely sure of Manik but there were a lot of things that needed answers before she could actually introduce Manik to her family.

Manik knows everything about her..

..but she had no idea about Manik..

..except for the fact that he was crazily in love with her...and would go to any extent and do anything for her.

For now that was enough..

..but she needed more..

..much..much..more.

But once she herself get all the answer she will herself tell her family about Manik..

..and she was absolutely positive that they will end up loving him..

..just like and as much as they love her.

This one thought was enough to remove to all the guilt from her heart once for all.
