Nandini's face gave away nothing when he looked at her.

However he instantly looked down as he continued "..her family shifted to the house next to ours..and she got admitted to my school..in my class.."

Manik stopped as he could feel Nandini's gaze on her..but he didn't had the courage to look up at her as he was scared to face what he might see in her eyes.

"..then what happened Manik.."Nandini's voice was too calm but in that very moment Manik knew that she was hurt beyond measures and unfortunately for him..he can't do anything about it as the moment..rather he was only going to increase her pain once he confessed the whole thing to her.

Manik knew she was not ready to let it go so he finally gave in as he confessed. "On the eve of Valentine..I came to know that one of my classmate who also happened to be my arch rival was about to propose her. He was always super nice to Sakshita..intially she never paid any attention to him but later she grew quite close to him..and that day everyone was pretty confident that she would say "Yes" to him.."

"..however that was unacceptable to me..because like a freak I wanted her undivided attention..that's why before he could even do anything I went ahead and kissed her publicly closing all the doors for her to get back at him.."
