You shattered his heart into a million pieces, yet you didn't care. You couldn't take it anymore.
He was loud, he was arrogant, but worst of all, he was violent; violent towards the people you cared about and yourself. He always got what he wanted, even when what he wanted most was your complete and utter submission. Not anymore, though. You made sure of that. You were done fearing Bakugou.
Oh, if only it was that easy.
Allowing you to leave him like that was such a humiliating blow to him. He couldn't afford to lose you - at least, not like that. You were his and he'd rather be damned than to let you have the power to ruin it.
He stood outside your window in wait. The chilly autumn air breezed past him, yet he seemed unfazed by it. All of his focus was trained on your house, waiting for the perfect opportunity. Bakugou was never this patient or organized, but there was something different about this situation: you were different.
Despite expressing it in all the wrong ways, his love for you was unrivaled. He would wait his entire life for you if that's what it took but unfortunately for you, a few hours was all it took.
The moment the last light in your house was switched off, he made his move. Using the hidden spare key that you had failed to move, Bakugou entered your house without a sound. By now, he knew it like the back of his hand. He could make his way to your room blindfolded without making a single wrong turn.
The lump of sorrow and anger that had been dwelling in the pit of his stomach since the day you broke up with him was finally put at ease the moment he was standing outside your door. This was it; you'd finally be his again and this time, he wasn't ever going to let you go.
Ever so slowly, the door creaked open. You woke up instantly from the sound of the startling noise, but your fear was soon directed the dark figure standing in your doorway. Even without being able to fully see him in the darkness, you already had a sinking suspicion of who it could be.
"B-Bakugou?" you hesitantly called out, desperately hoping you were wrong.
"I love you, [name]."
And just like that, he raised his hand up and sent a rippling explosion throughout the house. Chunks of debris came raining down on top of you and within seconds, the house was set ablaze. You couldn't move, you couldn't scream, you couldn't breathe.
Amidst the flames stood he who silently watched as the flames rapidly started making their way towards you who could do nothing but stare in horror. By the time the fire department arrived, you had already perished and he was back outside, hidden from sight.
As he looked on at the gorgeous scene before him, Bakugou would forever remember the day when his flames reclaimed you as his.
