I looked at Winry and Winry looked at me. What was I supposed to say to her? I couldn't get shitty with her about the innocence case. It would hurt her too much if she knew what I was feeling. So I just smiled.

"Hey babe" Edward said, looking over at the precious blond.

"Hello" Winry smiled. Although she looked concerned and worried.

I sat up slowly and held my hand out to her. Winry walked over and took it, siting down besides me on the bed.

She took a deep breath

"Edward I - I need to tell you something" she stuttered. It was blatantly obvious that she was scared and it made be scared too.

"Yeah...what is it?" I asked slowly. Squeezing Winrys hand.

Winry inhaled deeply and looked down at the ground.

Winry was freaking out.

I was freaking out.

This wasn't good.

Eh.....

"Edward....I - I'm cooking turkey tonight."

You've got to be kidding me.

"Uh that's great Winry.....I love...turkey" Edward said awkwardly, giving Winry a weird look.

"Oh th - that's great...well goodbye then." Winry said quickly and stood up, leaving the room and closing the door.

Edward sat puzzled and confused for a long while. "What the hell was that all about?" Edward questioned to himself.

Ed sighed and lied on his bed, looking up at the ceiling. Edward was partially worried about Winry but he soon got over it and his thoughts returned back too the innocence Incident. Colonel Mustang wouldn't tell Edward anything about the case, and he also seemed personally involved in the case. But Edward had done much more then the both of them had. He saved the...thing and brought her back to his house. He basically caught it before Roy could even locate her. Yet he was still so useless.

Edward sighed and rolled off the bed. "Maybe some exercise will do me some good." Ed contemplated. With that he left his room.

..........

It felt good to move around again. After coming home to Resembool Edward had really let himself go a little. He kicked and punched the living daylights out of the stuffed punching bag, letting all his frustration and anger out on it. That's when Alphonse walked passed.

"Oh hey brother" Al waved with a friendly smile on his face.

"Hey Al, what's up?" Ed asked half heartedly, still punching the crap out of the bag.

Al walked over and took a seat under the tree. "Not much I guess, just thinking about this innocence case I guess." Alphonse said.

Edward punched the bag with as much force as he could muster, thinking about the case angered him.

"Oh really?" Edward asked unenthusiastically.

"Yeah. Oh and by the way, Winry told me to tell you she's got a doctor coming over tomorrow morning." Al said. "Apparently it's just for a check up, but she's been acting kinda odd about it." He continued, looking up at Edward.
Edward stopped beating the shit out if the bag and looked at Alphonse.

"A doctor? Is she ok?" He asked with concern.

"I don't know, she won't tell me anything" Al said dimly.

Edward thought back to the 'turkey' scenario and frowned. She was acting rather oddly. And Edward wanted to know why.

"Thanks Al, I'll catch ya later" Edward called to Alphonse as he ran into the house.

"Uh no problem brother" Al said awkwardly as he was left siting by himself under the tree.

..........

Edward walked into the kitchen and found Granny Pinako chopping fresh herbs.

"Hey Granny, you know where Winry is"? Edward asked.

Granny Pinako stopped chopping and stared out the window. She finally replied.

"I believe she's in her room." She said slowly, returning to her herb chopping.

"Uh ok thanks" Edward said awkwardly, eyeing Pinako as he walked up the stare case.

Edward stopped In front of Winrys room and knocked on her bedroom door.

"It's just me Win" Ed said softly

Edward heard a rustling of papers and a chair fall over. This was getting weird.

"Yeah come in" Winry called through the door.

Edward slowly opened the door and walked into Winrys room.

He was not prepaid for the conversation they were going to have.
