I don't remember falling asleep on the couch. It has to be that boring movie I watched.
Argh!
It's dark and I can't see anything. I look for my phone under the cushions and it's not there. I pat on the table and finally find it.
I groan from the brightness. I immediately reduce the light and check the time. How great. It's 2am. Luckily, I'm no longer afraid of the dark.
Well faintly.
So, it's Saturday. I need to study for the upcoming English test that is on Wednesday. I make my way upstairs, shut the door behind me and quickly change into my pjays. Turns out I kind of fell asleep in my clothes. I then switch off my side lamp.
After my Mom's colleague left after dinner, I had plenty of dishes to wash. I just hope they won't be visitors tomorrow.
I can slowly feel my eyes shutting down and before I know it, I'm knocked out.
______
"Wake up!" Mom throws a pillow at my face. I groan and slowly open my eyes. Still shielding them from the brightness of the sun entering my room from the opened curtains.
"Really!" I yawn and throw my head back on the pillow.
"Get up and help me with the laundry. For a Teenager like you, you have some pretty same clothes." She shakes her head.
"How about I take it to the laundromat?" I get up from my bed, itching the tiredness off my neck and butt.
"No laundromat in this house. I don't want you to be inactive."
"I promise. This can be the first and last time. From there, I'll do my own laundry." I plead.
"Only because Janey is coming for a visit. Don't take too long." She smiles and exits my room.
Oh, come on. Just when I needed to have peace and quiet.
I enter the bathroom and brush my teeth, take a quick bath and change into something appropriate.
So, I'm assuming I'm paying for these dirty clothes.
You know, Amalisa? You could save a lot of money by doing your own laundry. You can buy ice cream from that money.
Urg no ways. I'm too lazy to reconsider that.
And off I go. Mom gave me a ride. So, I offload the clothes and enter the shop. It's pretty packed I should say.
I've found where I belong. A bunch of lazy people feeling lazy to do their own laundry.
I like this.
I find an empty Washing Machine. I immediately throw my clothes in and start processing everything else. I carry my bucket and BAM! I bump into someone.
