"How are you gonna get that out?" Kate laughs.

"I've tried the whole weekend. It just doesn't wanna go out." I shut my locker and walk with her to the cafeteria.

"That's called craziness. You agreed to play with it because of Blaze, right?"

"Uhm, no. We weren't playing with it. One thing just led to another." I shrug my elbows.

"Ew, don't say it like that." She hits my shoulder and scrunch her face.

"Dirty minded." I roll my eyes, "I'll have the special, please." I say to the cafeterian.

We walk to our seat, still limping but feeling a bit better. It's just that the shoes I'm wearing are too tight. Mase is on and off, he's sometimes with us and when Ryan is absent, he sits with them. It's not like we care but we're kind of being used.

"I'm still waiting... and why are you limping?" She asks with food in her mouth.

"Oh, I hit the corner of the wall."

"Why did I just feel your pain?" She laughs, shutting her eyes.

"It happens." I laugh with her.

"And how was the date with Winter?" She wiggles her eyebrows.

"Why' you doing that? It was not a date, okay. We just went out to have fun." I say looking at Blaze's table. It looks like he's explaining something to them as they all shake their heads and some punch him, but he's laughing hard.

I wonder what they're talking about?

"Why don't you just leave because you are not listening to me." She shouts and clicks her fingers at my face.

"Jezz. I'm sorry, something just caught my eyes."

"Yes. That something is called 'Blaze'." She rolls her eyes.

"Uhm... nope." I poke my pasta with a fork.

"Listen here, sweetheart. If you want something, you got to get it before anyone else does." She gives me her serious face.

Oh no... lecture time.

"What are you talking about?" I feign.

"Ama... I know you, okay. And I know when you like someone. But you always hate to admit it."

"Okay, Dr Phil. I do not like him, okay. But whenever I'm with him, I'm happy, I never wanna leave our little bubble and I forget every problem I have. But that does not mean I like him." I roll my eyes and seat back.

"Did you hear yourself? 'Our little bubble.' And the fact that he makes you happy... look, Miss pretty face, that's how a crush starts. I don't know who's the dumb one here but it's obviously not me." She mocks.

I chew my cheek and look intensely in her eyes. Giving her my look of 'you are so dead.' Because as much as I hate to admit it, she's kind of right.
