"Three days?" Raven asked sounding disappointed, "That's how long it'll take to do it properly," the man said, Raven's shoulders fell.

"Fine," Raven sighed, "We can explore the island," Michael said, Raven sighed as she looked at him annoyed. "I wanted to see mermaids..." Raven muttered, "How about we get something to eat," Francis said, "Okay..." Raven sighed, "Food!! Yeah!" Ace shouted and the made Raven crack a smile.
They walked slowly down the streets trying to find a place to eat. We ended up walking down the street filled with vendors. All manner of stuff was on display on the tables. Ace seemed solely focused on food, so when there was a stand with food he was there. Raven smiled watching him run from stand to stand buying food, he was like a kid in a candy store. She walked slowly behind Michael at her side. She looked at everything she could before Ace grabbed her hand dragging her over to another food vendor.

"You've got to try this!" Ace half shouted handing her a small bowl of what looked like meat balls. She ate one and smiled. "Brilliant," Raven said, and he bought a bunch more eating them as Raven went back to looking at the other tables.

"Hello," a rather old said from behind her table. Where she was whittling a new item, that looked like a type of stone. "They're all hand carved, made from gems found all over the world." She explained as Ravens hand brushed a few. Ace looked over her shoulder as she picked up one.

"What's this?" Raven asked, the gem was dark red carved into a swirl almost like a flame. Light reflecting almost inside making it glitter like it had real fire inside the small smooth gem.

"How much?" Raven asked lifting the gem to the sky getting it to glitter more, the old told her the price but before Raven could even think about reaching for her purse Ace handed the old lady the coins.

"Thank you," the lady said and Raven turned to stare at Ace, "You wanted it right?" Ace and she nodded about to thank him but he was already headed towards the next food stand.

"Well that was odd," Michael said, "I think it's sweet," Raven said putting the necklace on, the red gem resting on her collar bone. It was odd how it almost felt warm. Raven smiled and followed Ace down the street eating what he handed her.

"You seem to be in a better mood," Michael pointed out, "Problem?" Raven asked, "With you never?" Michael said automatically. "With him then?" Raven asked, "Yes," Michael sighed, "Why?" Raven asked looking at Michael. "I don't like him." Michael answered, "Just because he bought me the necklace?" Raven asked, "I don't like him," Michael said crossing his arms. "Get over it Michael, it's just a necklace." Raven said skipping after the others.
