Levi grunted as he hobbled to the carriage. "Get moving, now!" He barked, getting into the vehicle in a swift movement. Isabel and Farlan had concerned looks on their faces but complied with the man anyway. Levi let a faint sigh of relief when the carriage seemed to be moving fast and the sound of a distant scream and chatter faded.

He hissed when there was a bump in the road which moved his ankle in a bad way. "What was that move called again...?" He muttered, clutching the hurting spot. Levi had learned everything from his boss and uncle, Kenny. Some of the techniques or moves were dirty, no way following whatever rules that were out there in the world.

However, that sneaky trick is something he only vaguely remembered. Levi narrowed his eyes trying to remember what Eren did. His leg swept mine... and with his timing and strength, it was critical. "Damn brat," he said, placing his leg on the opposite couch to let it rest. He closed his eyes and thought about what had just happened.

I didn't really want to hurt that girl in the hallway, she wasn't my target... too bad she was in my way... damn, I didn't get the job done... means I'm going to be given a lot of crap from Kenny, the Sh-

"Levi! You gotta get out and see this!" Isabel shouted. Levi sighed and carefully, yet quickly, got out of his seat to see what Isabel wanted to show him. He immediately noticed the gray sky and distant rumbling. It even started to drizzle a little.

However, the main focus was on a raging river that was in their path. "Uh, Levi, I think we might have to rethink our course..." Farlan commented as the water crashed against the tightly compacted dirt that was the only thing from keeping their spot dry.

Levi sighed. "I'll go survey the river to the right. You two go see if there is a different way to the left. Hollar if you find something." He instructed. "Okay, take your cape, just in case someone sees you." Farlan said, throwing Levi the item. It was a simple, green cape. Levi said a quick thanks and put it on, doubting he'd need it. "Alright, let's start looking," Levi said as he started walking in his direction.

"You got it, big bro!" Isabel yelled, waving her hands and grinning. Farlan also had a smile on his face. Levi suppressed a little smile of his own and got to work.

It was really hard to see with all of the rain pouring down, mist becoming heavier and heavier. "Damn..." He muttered, pushing away an unknown plant. His ankle was starting to feel better, but the throbbing wouldn't stop.

The river seemed to go on forever and Levi just found the same things over and over again. A rock, another rock, tall trees, the sound of the crashing river. It started to rain so hard that it almost hurt. Levi wasn't going to lie to himself either, he was starting to shiver.

That was until he heard unnatural movement. He looked straight up into a tree, scanning it critically to find anyone who could be there. Everything seemed to be still, even the rain lessened. He saw a silver glint and some blonde hair. "Oi, get out of the tree," He hollered.

As fast as lightning, the blonde and silver moved and the sound of rustling of leaves went further away. Levi squinted his eyes as the rain picked up again and thunder was heard. He started walking back to where the carriage was, knowing that there was nothing along the river.

"LEVI!" A distant shout screamed. Levi's widened ever so slightly at the sound, recognizing it as Isabel's voice. He picked up his pace to a slight jog but had the urge to wince. "I will kill you, Jaeger. It better not be you." He gritted his teeth.

He heard more rustling of leaves, some sounds getting closer, others farther.

When he reached the spot of the carriage, the sight was something he never wanted to see. Ten people cloaked in brown were surrounding Farlan and had Isabel in their possession. Farlan's eyes lit up, hope creeping up in him that Levi would save them.

However, one of the cloaked figures noticed and turned to face Levi. "Annie, the one they talked about is here." A voice called out. Another figure shifted and Levi noticed the blonde from earlier. "Just get on with it," Annie responded.

Levi got his knives from his shoes and was ready to strike at any moment. The figure holding Isabel let go and she sighed a little. "Levi-"

She didn't get to finish that sentence.

The same figure that had once had her grabbed a metal-like object. Levi didn't get to see it closely, but he noticed a little metal part that the figure had pressed. It made a sound of wine bottles being opened, but more angry and loud.

A small object came out of it, that Levi could only guess that was metal as well, at blinding speed. It pierced a hole into Isabel's neck and blood started to come out. She screamed out in pain, grabbing her neck.

Farlan's eyes widened and started to try and get to Isabel but he was retrained. Levi charged, knowing that the object had a similar effect to a bow and arrow, judging on how it operated. A figure was faster.

They had gotten out a knife and slit Isabel's throat in one swift, confident movement. Her eyes widened as her neck detached from her body, blood gushing out just like the river next to them. For a second, her eyes still held a light in them, but it soon faded and the rest of her fell to the ground with a thud.

Levi stood there, just still. "YOU GOD DAMN-" Farlan started to scream. Another figure got out a sharp sword and sliced his stomach in half. Farlan yelped a sound of pain before he too was dead. The insides of his body reminding Levi of the countless times he had assassinated someone the same way.

"Let's go." A deep voice said. Levi shook before charging at the nearest figure, slitting their throat almost as gruesomely as they had done to Isabel. He screamed, going from one figure to the next, wanting them all gone.

Wanting them to feel the most intense pain possible. He stabbed and cut, stabbed and cut over and over again. His tears were falling down as quickly and as hard as the rain around him. He was a storm that killed seven of the figures that had taken the two most important people in his life.

He couldn't spot the three last figures and although that really irked him, he dropped to his knees. He sobbed into the cape Farlan had given him. He remembered the grin Isabel had shot him, the one he would always think as stupid and childish yet enduring.

His ankle hurt more than ever, but he couldn't care less.

The pain in his heart was enough to kill him.
