the screams coming out from the tv were driving me crazy.
"can you please turn that shit off? i'm trying to sleep."
she turned it off.
"i'm sorry." katia apologized.
she sat on the corner of my bed.
"are you okay?" she asked while she ran her fingers through my hair.
"yeah, i think so."
"what's wrong?" she seemed worried.
"i'm worried, that's it."
"about your upcoming exams? you're clever, you'll be fine."
"not really. it's about a friend." a friend? was she actually my friend?
"oh, i don't know what's going on but i think you should help that friend and give him? her? some company." she smiled me like if she was telling me that everything's gonna be alright. "you know, david broke up with me."
woah, subtle topic change.
"i'm sorry to hear that."
"no, it's fine. he was a dick. and sarah has been really helping me. i think that friend of yours is lucky to have you."
she wasn't so dumb as i thought -not to be mean!
"thank you sis." i whispered. "good night."
but it wasn't really a good night. i couldn't sleep.
with rose's problems and the girl of the songs on my mind, i wasn't able to sleep.
but it was worth losing sleep over it.
